Just make sure to buy the filter that is used for drip lines so the emitters don't get clogged up. **Q: I am currently using 3/4 inch ball valves to change flow from one circuit to another. Will this valve have the same flow capacity as the ball valve?** A: The same or better-----I think my inlet's and outlets are 1"----you will have to use reducers to adapt 3/4 " pipe. Please note that these valves are solenoid operated valves----as used with many electric 'timer' systems. I've found these solenoid valves to be trouble free over the many years that I've used them. **Q: I have a rainbird controller with 25.5v is it compatible with those valves?** A: Yes. Believe the valve is rated 24 volts +or- .
