Do replacement filters exist?

If I can return this for free if I don't like it; but the details say it must be in "unused" condition, how can I try it out without using it?!??

You should ask Amazon that question. Its a great question and Eureka dodged the question here. You didn't ask about a warranty, you asked if you could return it free if you dont like it. They know what you are asking and dont want to answer the question. Amazon customer support has always been good with me once you get through all the BS and get to where they will call and talk to you. This exact thing is why I'm considering buying from a brick and mortar store like Walmart or Lowe's who have generous return policies. Chances are you would have to take this to a UPS store for the free return and thats an hour round trip drive for me.
