Ideal for 160-6m and when used with a good ATU a perfect match can be obtained on all bands. There is an extra benefit of a ground connection for an earth rod if required. Frequency: 160-6m inc WARC bands Unun: 9:1 Length: 40m128 ft Socket: SO239 Power: 400W Review: As described. Works well. Good value. - As described. Works well. Good value. I did open the case and super glued the toroid to the case as their hot glue did not stick. Review: A decent and simple antenna - So in reading the reviews I see there is a lot of people who just don't understand how things work. For example the "dead short" mentioned is because there is an unbalanced-to-unbalanced (unun) transformer in the box, at DC voltages it is a short. It is also not going to be the kind of antenna that will work without a tuner as it is just a long wire with the UnUn to connect the coax to. I had to hot glue the toroid transformer in the box as it had come lose and I did not want it ratting around. It is best if you can get the wire up high. The side opposite the wire needs to connect to a solid ground rod, a counter-poise wire, or both. This design is simple and has been around for a very-very long time so it can and will work if you set things up right. (If an "Extra Class" cannot figure it out, oh well) ## Features - Frequency: 160-6m inc WARC bands - Unun: 9:1 - Max Power:400 Watts - Length: 40 m/128 ft - Socket: SO239 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09275GS4Y | | Best Sellers Rank | #390 in Two-Way Radio Antennas | | Brand | Harvest | | Brand Name | Harvest | | Cable Type | Coaxial | | Color | White | | Compatible Devices | Radios (including shortwave, two-way, and amateur radios), radio frequency explorers | | Compatible Phone Models | No Compatible Phone Models | | Connector Gender | Male-to-Female | | Connector Type | So239/Uhf | | Customer Package Type | coiled in protective tubing | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 71 Reviews | | Frequency | 1800000 MHz | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Item Length | 40 meters | | Item Shape | Round | | Manufacturer | Harvest | | Model | e6da0143-0625-40b4-ae70-1f7e360d15dc | | Model Name | Taurus | | Number of Pins | 2 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Data Transfer, High Speed | | Outer Material | protective tubing | | Recommended Uses For Product | Shortwave radio communication, long-distance radio communication, radio frequency exploration, and amateur radio activities | | Special Feature | Data Transfer, High Speed | | UPC | 695885337381 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Wattage | 400 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Harvest - **Cable Type:** Coaxial - **Compatible Devices:** Radios (including shortwave, two-way, and amateur radios), radio frequency explorers - **Connector Type:** So239/Uhf - **Special Feature:** Data Transfer, High Speed ## Images ![Harvest Taurus 160M-6M Multi-Band Long Wire Dipole Antenna - inc WARC Bands - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Ln2Vt275L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this antenna tune 6-160 bands using the internal tuner on my Yaesu 450D transceiver? Anyone with an internal tuner please chime in-thanks!** A: Too low to the ground is a killer on these antennas. **Q: Does anyone know the dimension on the box?** A: 2 3/4" W, 4" H, 2" D **Q: What is the wire gauge and type?** A: clear jacket - Stranded copper - appears to be 14ga **Q: Is there a higher power, like 750W or more?** A: I do not recommend an end fed fed antenna for that much power because too much RF will come back into the shack. At present I do not recommend this antenna because I have not been able to make it work like they say. I used a 66 ft end fed wire on 160-10 meters (not WERK bands) going directly into the antenna tuner in California and it worked great but I would not advise that for more then 100 watts again because of RF in shack. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As described. I live in a tough area with a lot of bad RF coming from the weed grow house's near my QTH but it's working well for me. Finally been able to make DX contacts. Good value and the HOA doesn't even notice it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Harvest Taurus 160M-6M Multi-Band Long Wire Dipole Antenna - inc WARC Bands - RFAdapter RG8x Coaxial Cable, CB Coax Cable, 50ft UHF PL259 Male to Male Low Loss CB Antenna Cables, 50 Ohm for HAM Radio, Antenna Analyzer - RFAdapter RG8x Jumper Cable, 2 Pack 2ft CB Coax Cable PL259 UHF Connector 50 ohm Low Loss for Ham Radio, Antenna Analyzer, Dummy Load and SWR Meter --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/330856389-harvest-taurus-160m-6m-multi-band-long-wire-dipole-antenna](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/330856389-harvest-taurus-160m-6m-multi-band-long-wire-dipole-antenna) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
