Picked this up for a few organisation projects around the house and it's done the job well. The adhesive sticks firmly to smooth surfaces — I've used it on plastic, wood and painted metal without any issues. The roll format is really practical since you can cut exactly the length you need rather than being stuck with pre-cut strips that are never quite the right size. One tip worth mentioning: give the surface a quick wipe down before applying. A little methylated spirits goes a long way in helping the adhesive bond properly, especially on painted walls. I'd recommend going with genuine Velcro Brand over the generic alternatives — I've tried cheaper versions before and the difference in grip strength is noticeable. This one holds consistently and the hook-and-loop connection feels solid even after repeated use. Good value at this price, especially with the current discount.

As expected

It is best to get name brand. I purchased some generic brand Velcro on Amazon and it was not very sticky and did not hold very well. I recommend this product because the name brand Velcro is much more sticky and reliable for holding something to a table or a wall (or wherever you want to put it). Also what I like about this product, is it gives you a roll of Velcro and you can just cut off the exact amount you need, and therefore it actually lasts a lot longer. Since you only cut the amount you need at a time.
