Pirate katana
The blade is sharpened and straight. All of the fittings are installed tight - no rattle or wobble present. Thickness of the Bohi blade is 7.5mm at the Habaki area and 3.5mm at the Kisaki area. Sori angle is an optimal 13/16" which is the same as my Siwode and HMS katanas. Weight is 2lb & 7oz without the Saya installed, which is about mid-weight for a katana. Point Of Balance is 5.5" from the Tsuba, which is a common spot. The Habaki/Koiguchi fit is light but adequate, and there is no blade slap present in the Saya. Even though my katana is a discontinued model that was (probably) the last one on inventory, it is an example of this brand, and it is still quite a decent katana. Mine has a different graphic design on the blade and Saya. The Tsuba and Tsuka handle parts are fitted together very tightly. My Tsuka has a metallic colored ribbon laced within the Itomaki wrap. I originally suspected this was a reinforcing wire designed to help keep the wrap tight, but no, it's just a ribbon.. I prefer to wrap the handle with hockey stick tape to keep the diamonds from moving out of shape and keep the Itomaki wrap clean. And yes, it is a little bit "trailerpark," but it works so well that with the exception of just a couple, all of mine get this treatment. The Samegowa is artificial and the Tsuka handle hardware doesn't draw a magnet, but the tang does until the last 2 inches from the Kochira pommel. The Pirate themed Tsuba does not attract a magnet, but very few Tsuba made these days will. A sword bag and katana stand could be purchased separately, if you need those. I like to use an inexpensive (52x4") gunsock that fits into a carry-strapped sword bag. Keep the blade wet with Corrosion-X and you shouldn't have any rust issues - CLP or petroleum jelly will also work. Choji oil smells much nicer and could be used instead, but I've tried all the other stuff and Corrosion-X is my preferred treatment for protecting bare steel - especially in a coastal environment. Packaging was adequate with a full-length plastic sleeve and centered with closed-cell Styrofoam. The product box is a higher quality clamshell with a small plastic handle. This box requires about 3 hands to open and close, but it is built a little better than most katana boxes. Recommendation: Yes. I have received exactly what was advertised. I am quite satisfied with the few katanas I have from Eroton, over these past several months. If this isn't going to be your final sword purchase, the LSWYBJ Blueblade katana, and the Towatiwe Blurple katana are both very decent, high-value options to consider. Siwode carries an excellent katana, but they rarely offer any budget grade options.

Great buy
I got it for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loved it. I loved the color and detail the sword has. It also came pre sharpened, according to him. This was a great buy for the price.

Good Katana
A little heavy, really nice design, coloring is good. It gets stuck and can be hard to remove from the case. It’s very sturdy and sharp, overall pretty cool.

Love this one
It’s great quality, has an amazing look and finish, and it’s perfect for anyone looking for value. I've already bought a katana from Eroton for the third time, and each time has been super satisfying. Especially this blue sword, the engravings on the blade are so detailed. They seem to have upgraded their gift packaging, which made me look extra classy when giving it as a gift to a friend who's about to move. If you need to give a gift to a friend or loved one, I highly recommend this Eroton katana company.

Great Beater Blade!
I have used this Katana to cut through metal cans, water bottles and even some wood. It is definitely a legitimate katana. Decorative swords or cheap katanas in this price range usually bend or break all together, not this one! For the price is why I give it five stars. Sure it is not a Cold Steel Katana, or a Hanwei Raptor. But for it's price I am impressed with it's durability and legitimacy. Overall very satisfied with the purchase, have owned it for over one year and still very sharp, granted I have sharpened it a few timesm You can tell whoever made it definitely put some kind of tempering on it too keep it strong. Sure it's not the best sword around, but it's a great Beater and fun to mess around with!
