Simple to set up vibration sensor works with Home Assistant
Installed on the from of the microwave so when the door is opened it triggers Home Assistant to switch the microwave on.Had to turn the sensitivity down from the default "high" to "low" as a high pitched bark from the dog would otherwise be enough to trigger it! Still get the odd trigger when no ones near it or even in the same room, haven't figured out why that is yet, but for the most part it does what I purchased it for.As to battery life, it's still showing 100% after 2 months of use.
