Q: What is the difference between this game and the older version (with the orange/red bordered box)?

I lat saw the older versionwhen I was eight. To my eye, the game, pieces, cards look the same-beautiful.

Q: What age level is this game for ?

I would say best for ages 5 and up. There are about 12 pictures to memorize and a lot of counting. My son started really liking this game this year at age 6

It's a memory game with a forest instead of tiles. You move to the tree and look under it. You move to another tree and you look under it next turn. Try to remember where the items are so when the king asks for something you can go to the castle. That's the point.
