Campaign Zombicide!
So...let me begin with the obvious. The package came in a few days before it was expected. The package itself was in prestine condition. The game itself is wonderful, however the people I was playing with are cautious of the new shooter zombie so our mission 1 took us 3 and a half hours to complete. The Campaign is crazy fun so far so it's worth it. Each mission had objectives that are read only when you unlock them during the game so it adds a surprise to everyone when playing the first time. There is the ability to keep weapons now and campaign skills that you can use starting in blue adrenaline which is very important. There is also permanent character death which can be avoided if someone rescues the character. They don't get back into the fight that mission but can be patched up and fight in the next mission. The new weapons aren't especially powerful which keeps the idea of abominations being a pain...well...real. The night and day system is amazing. We actually found hiding in the dark more useful than we originally thought because we got night vision elements in the day time and ended up playing pass the baton with a sniper. All in all. 5/5 wonderful expansion.

A real game-changing experience!
If you've picked up Zombicide 2nd Edition and haven't considered picking up Fort Hendrix, let this be the sign you were looking for. I picked up the base game a little over a year ago. While I had some fun with the starter missions, I felt like they were seriously missing something. The missions felt random and didn't vary much from picking up an objective token or opening a door. The difference in play between Fort Hendrix and a standard game of Zombicide was immediately apparent. The overlaid objective cards provide visual representation on the map of things your characters can interact with. Many of these cards change the map: adding doors, changing the contents of a room, or providing a choice with a lasting game (or sometimes campaign) effect. The game feels unique with every mission, and the ability to carry items over from mission to mission was really fun to see. My second mission into the campaign, my survivors were starting out with military equipment, and a healthy dose of special weapons. Even if you don't love the idea of a campaign, there is enough value in this set (new survivors, zombies, and tiles) to justify picking it up on sale. Having played through a few missions already, I will say that it really wouldn't hurt to pick up one of the shooter zombie packs in addition to this set. Six is usually enough to keep the board dangerous, but having twelve miniatures to put out really portrays the overrun military base aesthetic well. Overall, a great purchase!

Adds new mechanics and campaign play
Fort Hendrix is a campaign and adds some cool elements to Zombicide. The all-out dice adds a push your luck advantage. Weapons have their standard damage dice but you can add the all-out dice to increase it but if a one is rolled the weapon is destroyed. All-out dice are also used to see if any equipment can be carried over to the next scenario. My favorite addition are the shooter zombies. The sculpts are awesome and the new mechanic adds an extra level of strategy and difficulty. Much of the campaign story is told through objective cards that are placed on the board. The cards are so much more immersive compared to the core box objectives. It would be incredible if CMON released additional card packs for various tiles or if a creative person created some on BGG. The day/night mechanic is ok. I’m not sure I’ll continue to use it after the campaign. The new military equipment is nice for theme but doesn’t really add much to game play. Unrelated to my rating, my copy had two miniatures of one survivor and none of another. I contacted CMON, they responded quickly, unfortunately they could do nothing for me. They do not keep game components on hand. Overall, this is a great expansion. I recommend it to any fan of Zombicide.

Got our on Kickstarter
We got our game on Kickstarter with one of the CMON campaigns. We LOVED this game and the twists with the shooting walkers makes this game much more challenging. We've played each map multiple times now and it comes out different each time. It's got a nice story line to go and it's fun to try and keep your weapons between maps. The strategy changes between daylight and night time. CMON game designers brought all sorts of good new twists to our beloved game.
