The sound is actually pretty good for such a small, plastic unit. I really like not being plugged-in with earbuds or headphones all the time. They make me feel isolated - something we're dealing with bigtime these days. It's easy to use, except there is nothing indicating the radio station you're tuned into. The other problem cropped up when I tried to play one of my MP3 CDs. Unfortunatly, this player cannot read MP3s. So I ended up returning it, and replacing it with another nice unit that is MP3 capable. A Note To Amazon: This delivery came in the box the unit comes in - not in another box, or even wrapped in some kind of covering to hide the contents. I think this is not good.
