I mix my own because I prefer a more matte finish.** A: you can use your own clear but if you are looking at any Amaco tests for what your results would be, then use the Amaco to match those results. **Q: Is it safe to use for the food dishes ?** A: Yes, they are all safe for food. Most say low fire, but I have fired all of them to cone 6 with no problem. Reds may fade out some **Q: can these be used to make underglaze transfers?** A: I haven’t tried them for Underglaze transfers. I guess it might work if you make your colors strong enough. I see no reason why not. **Q: Can you fire to cone 5 with thesr?** A: Yes. I experienced a bit of fading but if you're looking for soft colors it works well. ## Frequently Bought Together - AMACO Non-Toxic Semi-Moist Underglaze Set - B in Pan, 1.5 oz, Assorted Color, Set of 8 - AMACO Non-Toxic Semi-Moist Underglaze Set - C in Pan, 1.5 oz, Assorted Color, Set of 8 - AMACO Semi-Moist Underglaze Decorating Colors Set 4 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/334293370-amaco-non-toxic-semi-moist-underglaze-set-b-in-pan](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/334293370-amaco-non-toxic-semi-moist-underglaze-set-b-in-pan) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
