It adds a tiny bit of shine to my gingery-brown beard - just enough to keep it looking good without looking greasy. Each bottle lasts a LONG time. I'm on my second bottle, having bought my first one in August 2018 and my 2nd in August 2020. I use mine regularly but not religiously on my short-medium length beard, using a glob the size of a small pea each time. I can imagine some people could go through a bottle in 9 months to a year but probably not much sooner than that unless you're overdoing it (or have a Duck Dynasty beard). As far as scents - I first purchased a bottle of the Gold scent and liked it but wanted to try something else. Bearing in mind how long each bottle lasts, I didn't want to commit to buying a scent I wasn't going to be sure I'd like, so I bought a trial kit from their website that came with an ounce or two of each scent. All of them except Gold didn't smell great and the scents were notably strong. I couldn't hug my family members without them commenting on how they didn't like the way I smelled. For my 2nd bottle I ended up going with unscented and I recommend it 10x over any the others. I feel that if I want to smell a certain way, I can just throw on a little bit of cologne, and I don't need my beard oil adding any unnecessary smells. Also a note with the different scents - my experience is that the unscented seems to have a better consistency than the others. I suspect the added oils for the scents make the mixtures less homogenous and more prone to coming out runny (imagine the liquid at the top of an unshaken ketchup bottle). The obvious answer to this is "shake the bottle," but with the bottle of Gold that I first owned it was very hard to give it a proper shake until I was maybe 1/6th of the way through the bottle. This could simply have been an issue of quality control but this seemed to hold true with the scents in the trial kid I had as well. Overall verdict - solid product. Five stars. I don't see a reason to try any other brands. I highly recommend the unscented version, and if you want to go the scented route I recommend trying the trial kit first to see what you like.

Smells great and it really helps nourish and soften my beard. I like how it’s thicker than other beard oils. And easier to wash off your hands. Using the Jelly Oil with the Bossman Beard Balm really helps keep my beard in place and adds a nice shine all day. Easy to use, helps my beard look thick and full, and looks great all day. Best value I’ve found for beard oil/beard balm by far! My beard feels moisturized all day and my daughters love the smell and how soft my beard is after using these products. Washes out super easy in the shower too. I will definitely buy again and I highly recommend!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magically delicious

I grew a COVID-19 stay-at-home beard. Surprise: It is white as snow! I like it and am going to keep it; let it grow out a little. Maybe get some side work as a mall Santa Claus if that's going to be allowed. So, I heard about Bossman beard products from a friend who uses them on his beard. And, since Bossman is American (specifically Austin, Texas!), I thought I'd start with some beard oil. I got the Magic scent because I like the smell of patchouli. The Magic beard oil is really a gel. A little goes a long way. I followed the directions on the bottle . It apples very much as advertised. Doesn't leave any oily residue. It absorbs right into the beard follicles pretty much on contact. It doesn't transfer onto my pillowcases or my clothes. I wish the scent was a little more pronounced, but that's just my preference; you might like the fact that the scent is subtle. The hair in my beard is courser and kinkier than the hair on my head. This beard oil seems to make my beard a little softer than it would be without any product. Overall I am at an Amazon level "4" in my overall rating. You might give it a "5" because my rating definitely leans in that directions. I only give it a "4" because I had a higher expectation of its softening abilities and strength of scent. It is a very nice product, and I am using it twice every day: After my morning shower, and before I go to bed.
