Very nice set of bongos! We are not musicians, but we love making music, and percussion is one of our favorite things to do together. Our children love the set and play them almost every day.

I got these for my son who LOVES drums and the quality was even better than expected!

QUALITYYYYYYY bongo drums. I have a Deaf daughter who oddly enough LOVES music. Deaf people can feel the vibrations of the music and she goes to town with this. I took her to a Deaf event one day and they have a bongo drum performance and one of the drummers allowed her to play on his. Seeing her light up, I knew wi had to get her some for her birthday. these are the perfect size, quality. The drummers we saw, that had wooden sticks for theirs. I'm gonna have to find her some to use. she prefers drum sticks over using her hands but she does both. I'd love to see these come with the sticks already.

I was so excited to receive my bongos this morning. 😀 The sound is unique and it's a great exercise tool for your fingers, hands, wrists, and blood circulation. Nice for the kids to play. Feels like not a lot of area to get a resonant sound, just at the edge. I'm a bongo novice. They are heavy and solid. Also smaller than expected, but I could've measured to verify what I was getting. If buying again, I'd look for something with a 5-6" minimum size for the small bongo. The wood in-between is connected by 2 wingnuts, and can get a little loose. Can be a little tricky to tighten with large hands. Also the one I got had a large wooden knot in it, not top quality.

The sound is rich and clear, the drums feel sturdy and well made, and they’re easy to play even for beginners. Great value for the price and perfect for both practice and casual playing. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

These bongos looked promising, but unfortunately, they arrived with some weird gunk like it was a returned item and didn’t sound great either. We gave them a try, but the quality just wasn’t there ended up returning them. Maybe we got a dud, but definitely not what we expected.
