Perfect for what I need it for. I do allot of sim racing on pc, and everytime I pressed my pedals, my chair would roll backwards. So I purchased these to prevent my chair from rolling at all. And wow they are solid! My chair will not budge at all now. In order to move my chair at all, I have to lift it up. Also they are so simple to install. Just put your chair upside down, pull out the original feet (They just pop out) and slide these in place. They also come with adhesive rubber stickers you can put on the bottom to prevent scratching on hard floor. But on carpet they are not needed in my case. So if you want feet for you chair to stop from sliding completely, this product is for you. If you want something that can easily slide on the floor, this may be too grippy for you.

We had just installed new Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring, and suddenly the standard roller wheels on our office chair felt like tiny plastic instruments of destruction. I bought these bell glides primarily to protect the new floors, which they’ve done beautifully. What I did NOT anticipate was their secondary function as a child-safety device. Apparently my children had grown accustomed to using the office chair as some sort of indoor Olympic bobsled, launching themselves around the living room on the roller wheels with absolutely no concern for speed, furniture, walls, or their own cranial integrity. These glides put an immediate end to the Office Chair Bobsledding Championships of 2026. The chair still moves when an adult actually wants to reposition it, but it no longer takes off across the LVP like it’s qualifying for the Winter Games. Easy to install, inexpensive, great for protecting hard floors, and unexpectedly effective at keeping crazy children from achieving dangerous speeds on office furniture. Saved the LVP. Saved the cranials. Five stars.

I have been looking for something like this for quite some time. I tried other chair stops but that required my having to lift up the chair and remounting the stops every time I wanted to move the darn thing. Slipped these on just now and they are literally perfect. The most time I spent was taking the old wheels off. Popping these on took nothing and slipped right in. If I hadn't needed to remove the old wheels, I suspect I could have had all five popped on in under 2 minutes. It's just that simple. They come with a little rubber grip pads which attached to the bottom of the feet which really does keep them from moving around. It also means that I get to just move my chair around now without having to keep picking it up to put those risers on and off. I'm already really really happy with this and definitely recommend them.

These "glides" are awsome! I had two desk chairs that I di not know what to with them.. Since I changed my floors from carpet to hard floors I had to buy wheels with breaks for two other chairs. I did not know these gliders exist so I was going to get rid of the chair because I don't really like the ones with breaks, they see to get stuck. But having found these I kept the chairs and I love the fact that they are safe and I can use use them as regular chairs!! They were easy to install. I pulled the old wheels off and replaced with these gliders , they fit perfect!

I like these. I have a mat underneath my desk and is super slippery. This helps to make my chair stable but the problem with these are that its hard to move for that micro adjustment but that is part of the design, its supposed to be stable. Just wish it was easier to move

Works great keeping the chair in place

I needed a way to keep my office chair from rolling. I removed the casters on my chair and replaced them with these stationary castors. They fit perfectly. Now my chair doesn't move and doesn't scratch my hardwood floor. I love it!

Initially I gave this five stars as it did the job. I'm changing that now to 3 stars. Only had them for a few months when one of the pads started sliding off. Now after having for 6 months, they have all come off. Should have read the reviews prior to purchasing. I'll know better from now on.

Seems durable to me. Ordered them for my home study chair. Didn't give me a second thought while purchasing this as it was returnable. Turned out to be a good buy

These are supports made of thick brittle plastic for the replacement of wheels of office chairs.. They will wear off within six or seven weeks
