From Rod Campbell, the bestselling creator of the beloved classic Dear Zoo , Dear Santa is a lift-the-flap novelty book being reissued in time for Christmas! In this delightful tale, Santa is looking for the perfect present to send to a special child. Lift the flaps to reveal a big kite, a bouncy ball, and a mask! But nothing seems quite right...until Christmas Eve, when Santa finds the perfect gift to leave under the tree. With lift-the-flaps throughout and a touch and feel element on the last page, this holiday tale is perfect for parents to read with their little ones. Review: A fun classic - My children enjoy this book and so do I. We have the Dear Zoo book and thought this one would be perfect to add to our Christmas collection. About the book: A little kid writes to Santa for something special. Santa comes up with different gifts but then decides maybe something better. The book is not a rhyming book but it is a good book to introduce kids to names of things (nouns) and describing words (adjectives). What I love: The flaps to open. That the last page has a touch and feel thing. That it is a board book which is good for little hands. Recommend for: Ages 0+ (The flaps are thin though so best not to leave unsupervised with little ones as they could easily tear off.) Beginning Reading level Gifting Review: If you love Dear Zoo, get this! - If your baby/toddler loves Dear Zoo, they will thoroughly enjoy Dear Santa! It has the same pattern--each page, they open a different gift and Santa decides it's too small, big, bouncy, etc. Then at the end, there is a special surprise that Santa decides is just right. :-) The last gift is even a touch-and-feel page! I love that this book has the same sturdy flaps as Dear Zoo...my 13-month-old has ripped off so many flaps, but never Dear Zoo, so at least this book will hold up, too. This is a great holiday version of Dear Zoo. Some Christmas books that are based on popular "regular" books seem gimicky and aren't as good, but I genuinely like this one. This and Little Blue Truck's Christmas are my baby's new favorites!

Cute for toddlers
My family does a book advent calendar every year and this book was chosen as part of it. With 2 young toddlers, this book was perfect, loved the different flaps. Also had a very cute storyline. Would suggest to others and would definitely buy again.

Cute and themed
My 1 year old adores lift the flap books. We bought her this for Christmas and she still loves to read it with us. Some of the flaps are a bit small, but they can be opened with assistance. Overall, a cute themed book from the Dear Zoo range!

Perfecto para los peques. Divertido y entretenido.
