Willow Tree angels resonate with many cultures and ages of people. To some they represent protection, to some they are an outward reminder of inner peace, and to some they represent a way to remember those who have left this earth. Hand-carved figures reveal their expression through body gestures only... a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. Since 1999, American artist Susan Lordi has worked in partnership with DEMDACO to produce, market and distribute Willow Tree , her line of carved figurative sculpture. From her studio in Kansas City, Lordi hand carves the original of each figure. This piece is cast from Lordi's original and painted by hand. Enclosed inside each fitted packaging box is a gift-giving card with piece title and sentiment on it. Each piece is intended to be open to interpretation from the viewer. "Willow Tree isn't so much about the tangible piece. It represents an emotion or it marks a memory." -Susan Lordi Ready to display on a shelf, table or mantel. To clean, dust with soft brush or cloth. Avoid water or cleaning solvents. ## Features - Sentiment: ”Always there, listening with a willing ear and an open heart” written on Enclosure Card - 4”h hand-painted resin figure of angel in cream dress with wire wings, seated on gray rock, with hands under chin - A gift to express appreciation and thankfulness for teachers, volunteers, donors, caregivers, friends Packaged in fitted box ready for gift-giving - Artist Susan Lordi hand carves the original of each Willow Tree piece from her studio in Kansas City, MO This piece is cast from Susan's original carving and painted by hand - Ready to display on a shelf, table or mantel To clean, dust with soft brush or cloth ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Age Range Description | Adult | | Asin | B000ODN9GK | | Best Sellers Rank | #322,878 in Home & Kitchen (See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen) #419 in Collectible Dolls | | Brand Name | Willow Tree | | Character | Willow Tree Angel of Caring, Always There, Listening with a Willing Ear and an Open Heart, Expressing Appreciation for Teachers, Volunteers, Caregivers, Nurses, Friends, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure | | Collection Name | Angel | | Color | Natural | | Customer Reviews | 4.9 4.9 out of 5 stars (1,420) 4.9 out of 5 stars | | Finish Types | Painted | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00638713260796 | | Item Dimensions L X W X H | 3.74"L x 4.61"W x 4.92"H | | Item Type Name | Figure | | Item Weight | 11.93 g | | Manufacturer | DEMDACO | | Manufacturer Part Number | 26079 | | Material Type | Resin | | Model Number | 26079 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number Of Pieces | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday, Mother S Day | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Recommended Uses For Product | Expressing appreciation for teachers, volunteers, donors, caregivers, and friends | | Shape | Round | | Specific Uses For Product | Indoor | | Style | Antique | | Theme | Inspirational | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upc | 638713260796 803422118021 | ## Images ![Willow Tree Angel of Caring, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aiXHHefOL.jpg) ![Willow Tree Angel of Caring, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71KUd5z9AUL.jpg) ![Willow Tree Angel of Caring, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Iv9Fta4SL.jpg) ![Willow Tree Angel of Caring, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/812KwUlmy6L.jpg) ![Willow Tree Angel of Caring, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81cvhf2qXFL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What does the card say that comes with this angel?** A: I am out of town right now for a family emergency. I am coming home Saturday, but can have my husband check before then if timing is important:) **Q: How do I send this Angel as a gift to a different address?** A: On the Ship To section of the order, put the recipient’s name and address and I will send it there. Let me know if you want the packing list included in the box. The Buyer’s name would be you. **Q: what does the sentiment card say on this Angel of Caring?** A: I don't have the sentiment card, but if you download the catalog from their website - you can keep track of those you have and the wording for each of the Angels. You mark each as "have""want" "gave" so you don't buy duplicates. Save it on your hard drive each time you buy a new one. **Q: How tall is this piece? Thank you** A: I gave this as a gift. I have a similar Willow Tree Angel and it is about 4 inches tall. I love Willow Tree Angels and have several. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Willow Tree!
