Elf on The Shelf Scout Elves at Play Kit

Do you love seeing the delight on your child's face when they find their scout elf each morning? Of course you do! But like most of us parents you may not have the time and money to create elaborate set-ups like you see on Pinterest and other idea sources. Sure, it would be loads of fun to create a detailed, fully-functioning Santa's workshop with half a dozen scout elves, but who has the resources for that? Especially every night for a MONTH?This book and tool set is going to be a TREMENDOUS HELP. The tools are all well-made and sturdy. The 60-page idea book that comes with it has explanations of how to use each tool, how to maintain them in good condition, and of course dozens of ideas in collage format. I counted over 90 ideas! A small detail on each photo that is particularly helpful are the icons used to indicate two things: how much time it will take to set it up (either 2, 5 or 10 minutes), and which of the tools are required to do that particular set up. This is really helpful when you realize at 5:00 in the morning that you forgot to move your scout elf, and two minutes might be all you've got!Our scout elf is due to return to our home from the North Pole any day now, and these tools are going to make it SO MUCH EASIER to set up cute and dynamic scenes to delight our daughter every morning. This is a very reasonable price, and with free Amazon Prime shipping it can't be beat. I am ecstatic to have this kit to help us every bleary-eyed pre-dawn morning that we stumble in the darkness from now until Christmas. I highly recommend this!Note that this kit was designed to work with the recent scout elves, not the original/older ones. Some of these tools will work with either, but others will only work with the size of the recent elves. Omg! The elf adds just one more thing to our plate each season. I keep trying to think of a way to get rid of it, but until then this kit may help me keep my sanity. Cute tools, plenty of ideas and the book is written in a way that you can share it with the kids and it doesn’t spoil the surprise. It’s meant to be something the kids leave out for their elf (a box of familiar tools the elves use during their training at the North Pole). I’m not even sharing the book with the kids so he ideas in it stay a surprise.

These are sooo much fun to help our scout elves find something to do. There were plenty of items to help create a quick scene or the items can be used to help create an elaborate setup. The items were all quality and it was so nice I bought it twice. For both of the elves of course.

This is a cute idea! I especially like that they have a book for different setups. I always feel like a bad mom compared to the ones that do very elaborate things with their elves. I don't have a lot of time and I don't enjoy messes so at least this gives me a little booster instead of just sticking our elves (We have 4!) on a shelf somewhere. I obviously haven't used it yet but the quality is decent and the ideas seem easy enough. The items inside will be helpful, I'm a little concerned about the chair, it seems a bit tall so if you have a top heavy elf they might fall over. We have 4 different elves, 2 are the original, and 2 are the new "fat face" as we call them type. They are very different. The first two are a bit more stiff in the middle so they are easier to maneuver, the newer ones are softer so they might have a hard time with some of these things, it really all depends. They also have some cards that have messages on them. This is handy since the kids know my handwriting I've never really had the elves write notes because I think my kids would know it was me. This takes the headache out of it, I can just choose a message and there are hangers or the elf can just hold it in his or her lap.It's a bit pricey but then again, so are the elves at $30 a piece! We have also purchased the Elf Pets and lots of the clothing. We are quite invested with these darn elves! Hopefully this makes it more fun and a little easier on us parents with the ideas on what we can do with them every night when we pop out of bed just before snoozing off to dreamland in a panic because we forgot to hide the elves!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money on this kit, but I'm so glad I did! Not only does it give you accessories for your elf, it also gives you ideas and shows you how to use each one. I feel like I did a good job last year and didn't need this kit, but now that I have it I have so many more options and ideas when I'm in a hurry.

I'll post some pictures at Christmas. 😁Last Christmas I ended up catching a cold and I couldn't move him everyday so I got up in the middle of the night and she had had an accident on his last trip and was in a cast and could not leave his chair for about a week. Don't forget to make sure Santa and some of the elves sign it I just took some gauze and a piece of tape wrapped around his leg and then I used little messages to the kids every morning that I could do cuz if you're going to hold up if he goes back every night you've got to be able to follow through with it and don't traumatize your kids I seen some of the videos that's just evil now your friends fine, children... come on now what easier way to get your kids to be good without having to yell at thim and make everybody's holiday miserable.

This is such a cute idea and will make this season so much more fun for me to do fun things with our elves for my kids. I love the accessories and ideas! This is a must have if you are so done doing the same ideas every year or just plain out of ideas.

The concept is cute, and the product well-made, although some items don't work very well unless your elf has wires inserted. Some items were used over and over again because of this Also, the climbing boots were so difficult to get on the elf I gave up. For me it's too much money to pay for what I was actually able to use.

A life-saver on evenings where I've forgotten to move the elf and just want to get to bed. Looks really creative with minimal effort. He's absailed down cupboards and sat comfortably in his lovely chair in the kids book corner. The suction cups and hooks are great at suspending the elf from windows etc. All items are well made and useful, providing lots of ideas for adventures. It all fits the 'elf on the shelf' very well, the boots take some effort to put on but they look great and hold him securely. The book is great for inspiration too and beautifully presented.

If your doing elf on a shelf I think you need this. Yes it's expensive as your looking at 40 quid if you are buying elf on the shelf and this together but the fun had with it is awesome. Really like it. Very good quality and the little snow boots with suckers on really does make it for me.

Brought this for our first elf on the shelf this year!! Book is full of fun ideas really nice layout. The props that come with it are excellent going to have lots of fun with it!! Was waiting for it to become available for a couple of weeks ( obviously in high demand) but as soon as I had ordered it was kept informed of where it was and when it was going to be delivered ( which was on time) highly recommended
