First things first. This head unit does NOT have an SD card slot. It is a MICRO SD card slot (the newer super small card). Massive difference. All the people that have posted comments and the description itself says there is an "SD card slot" when it is not an SD card slot. I got it hooked up without any issues. Sound is great. Touchscreen is slightly misaligned and a rather low resolution (but it was $100!). So I can look past that. I cannot get rid of that incessant touch screen beep sound when you touch the screen. Having a hard time finding the the right video format to play movies from the MICRO SD card. supposedly AVI/DIVX at 720p. hopefully I'll find the right configuration soon. I hooked up a camera to the camera port and that works too. All in all, I'm very pleased with the purchase. ***UPDATE*** I am using the "Divx Convertor" free application and it works perfectly. Albeit the output size is large. I couldn't find a configuration with the Handbrake program to work properly. ***UPDATE*** After about three months the unit kept randomly locking up or restarting and it was happening more and more as the time went on. It got to the point where if I drove to the store it would shut off about five times in a 15 minute drive. I called their support and they were totally cool. They shipped me a new one before I sent my unit back so I wouldn't be left with a hole in my dash. Then I shipped back the old one in the same box. The new one is working flawlessly. Props to BOSS.

Much better than I was expecting for this price range. I recently bought a decent condition 21y/o truck and, having not driving cars without rear cam for several years, I found myself backing up without turning my head. So, for safety reasons, I HAD to get me some backup camera at an affordable cost to complement my new weekend warrior vehicle. Started looking at rear view mirrors with backup cameras but a decent one ranges in the $80-160 ballpark and still would give me a dim image no larger than 3.2" diagonal so I moved on to stereos. After looking at so many available options, and all range of prices, I found this gem. Nice stereo, 2din, full size screen with backup camera included for $100. What's not to like? Comes with all wiring, including the RCA video for the camera. Unfortunately, it comes with a 16 footer and my truck required and extension. The camera looks OK. I've seen worse. Image is bright and I can't find any settings to tweak that. But, for what I want, I'm more than happy with the results. While testing before fixing to the dash, I noticed the rear heat diffuser for the amp gets hot really quick. I'm not into listening to loud music so I don't think it will be a problem. Time will tell. Hopefully not a fire hazard. I don't typically listen to music in my car so audio quality was not a deal breaker as long as it had the basic functions. I'm glad to report that not only does it have all those functions and more, but also sound is more than decent for the price. I was gladly satisfied. Bluetooth works good. A2DP sounds very nice. Most BT units come with external microphones to be installed near driver or passengers to minimize distance to source and reduce sound/noise ratio. This unit does not. As a result, other end receives tons of road and truck noise and less amount of voice. Probably not the best if you're planning on relying on it for phone calls. I don't so it works for me. I've definitely used much better BT phone systems. If you're looking for audiophile quality, this is not it. But if you're looking not to break the bank and install a functional unit, step up from some stock ones, this might do it.

I finally decided to pull the trigger on our aging 2004 Ford F-150 mainly for the purpose of adding rear-view camera. Initially research endless list of wireless to wired rear view camera options, even purchased and returned a DOA item for a wireless camera. The wireless kit more than this head unit set! After contemplating, decided to go with Boss BVB9358RC Double-Din with Rear View license plate camera. The obvious attraction was the 6.2" screen and rear view camera. Did not want to have another monitor using my 12v plug and an eye sore on my dash. Purchased with Metra Harness (70-5520) and Kit (95-5812). Both worked like a charm (although the Metra DoubleDin kit required some tab removal). I spent some time soldering the wires from the radio harness to the Metra Ford Harness ... all colors matched up perfectly. Then added the rear view wiring through the cabin via tail light trigger wire (positive). The radio installation was simple enough (about 30 min) but the wired rear view camera took a while. Biggest draw back was the video cable was about 2-3 feet short. Thus, need to purchase and RCA coupler and another video cable. Thus, rearview camera install took about 2hrs. I T-tapped into the positive rear bulb in the tail light. With the included video cable, ground isn't required, but I did still tap it into the negative wire as assurance. As for the head unit, it looks fairly good. DVD,CD, MP3, AM/FM, Touchscreen all work flawlessly. I was worried about needing an antennae adapter, but it was not needed for my for truck. Only negative would be that the rear view camera is subpar. The camera is overexposed and spotty in some areas...and will cut out at times when weather is chilly. Not sure what the fix would be other than to replace the rear view camera. Hopefully the seller can see my review and offer an exchange for the rear view camera. Other than that...overall far exceeded expectation for the price. Highly recommend the product.

Works great. The sound is very good especially for the money. I bought a different brand twice and it was absolutely garbage. This Boss doesn’t have much lag and it just works very well. Highly recommend it.
