I do not know. But rhodium is another white metal used on sterling silver to keep the look shiny without the normal tarnishing associated with sterling silver. It can be used on base metals for same effect.

Does it come in original Swarovski box and packing? How about international warranty? is that available through the Swarovski stores globally?

Yes. It came in a blue Swarovski Box. Not sure about the warranty but it's really nice.
