After looking through some reviews, I was lead to this 187 Killer Pads Six Pack Pad Set, which was almost double the price. However, you definitely get what you pay for. These pads don't slide up and down my knees and they fit snugly. They might feel a bit too tight, but at least they stay in place since you have to fit them over your arms and legs like a sleeve. That sleeve provides extra stability. Although the elbow pads have a smaller shield than the Triple Eight set, it is rounded and seems to be engineered to break your fall if you land on it. The knee pads are already much larger in surface area and seem like they can take a scrape. The wrist guards are fine, and I haven't seen too many differences between wrist guards of different brands at this price point. Overall it seems like a great pad set, and I'm glad I switched to this brand.
