winwill 9-Pin USB Motherboard Male Header to Single USB 2.0 Type A Male Cable 7.8inch

I am using this cable for my PCIe Wifi 6E card which needs an external power for the bluetooth to work. I got first an internal usb cable (similar to this one, but the usb pins can be plugged into the motherboard's internal usb 2.0 socket "of course if you have one on your main board"), but that cable didn't work for me. So, I found this cable which you need to plug it into normal usb (externally) and it works as expected; it is in use for about 3 months now without any issue.

Works as expected. I bought this to connect a Commodore64X bare bones keyboard to my pc. The keyboard was supposed to be connected to a mini itx motherboard.I bought this, and cheated.

Perfect for my WiFi/Bluetooth antenna as I had run out of slots on my board. Ran the cable out of the pci slots to the back IO.

Perfect for adding an additional rgb hub that requires a usb2 connection and you used the standard motherboard ones.

looked like someone had just cut a normal USB cable then poorly clamped some pins on it.. metal cable shielding was exposed and the cables fell out the header..could have done a better job with a knife and fork

old (very old) motherboards didn't have usb headers on board. this is a clever way to get front panel support. you can plug this into a usb port on the back of the board, thread this through the pci slot into the case and then connect the front panel connector and then you are done! you have front panel support! excellent idea.

It works but it is pretty weak and it might only last you a couple of months.

I ran out of internal headers on the motherboard this does help out a lot

The cable is look good but I'm just starting to use it and it works very good and there is no decrease in the connection speed.I would say given it 4 start not 5 is the usb connection part or end is not fixed to the cable .

This is the only way I can install my new wifi receiver in my Dell G5000 desktop.
