Currently a photography major. This book has taught me some valuable tricks that I did not know before.

Excellent book - very instructional even for beginners - excellent for advanced users also.

If you're just starting out in Photoshop this is NOT the book to get. Too much information thrown out there. Way better to start off using Adobe Photoshop CC Classroom in a Book. Somewhere down the road, as I learn more about CC this may turn out to be a useful reference but for now it's just a paperweight.

Complete and professional, ideal as a reference manual on the enormous bunch of photographic tools that aare in Photoshop.

Bisogna premettere che il libro è in Inglese, anche se corredato da numerose immagini. Il libro è ben strutturato, diviso in 11 capitoli che vanno dai fondamentali sino alle funzioni avanzate. Il sito dell'autore è poi costantemente aggiornato con ulteriori approfondimenti seguendo anche gli aggiornamenti del programma Photoshop. Adatto sia al principiante che al fotografo esperto che vuole conoscere i segreti del programma. Un ottimo acquisto.

ci sono moltissime tecniche e cercherò di capire se pensano che sia completo o lasci aperte altre tecniche da inventare in funzione delle esigenze di realizzazione fotografica... Sono molto soddisfatto. eventualmente in futuro vi farò sapere...

I have purchased serval of Martin's books, both paper and eBook versions. And while I believe they are great value for the content I find that the imagery, especially the screens shots from the Photoshop program, are poorly rendered in the eBook version. In fact for the CS5 edition I ended up purchasing a paper copy after I had purchased the Kindle copy just so I could see the figures and images. But I find the paper versions big and heavy and a pain to travel with. Otherwise Martin presents in the material in a thoughtful manner with good explanations. I definitely recommend his books.
