Perfect for first time RC airplane
This is my 9 year old son's first RC airplane. He is able to maneuver easily and picked it up quickly. The plane is surprisingly durable as we've had it for 6 months now. We purchased a more expensive airplane that was not nearly as durable and easy to control. The only downside I see is that replacement parts for propellers and wheels do not seem to be available. We still have all the original propellers which are chipped but still work. The wheels fall off if you do not adjust the wires to be tighter.

Outdoors Only
My hopes was to be able to fly this indoors, will not fly slow enough or agile enough to fly indoors.

Veers to the left every single time.
This is a very lifelike P-38 with some nice details. Unfortunately, it is very hard to get this plane into the air. It veers hard to the left, even with much adjustment. I bought this for a beginner but I am no beginner and even I cannot get the thing in the air for more than a second. We are going to end up having to take this thing apart and work on it ourselves or use it for spare parts. It's simply will not fly. There is no other conversation to be had about this product until it gets into the air.

Nice plane but I think we got a dud
Mine kept veering to the right pretty aggressively and the controls have no trim to adjust this. I tried manually trimming it using weights on one wing which worked briefly but then it seemed like the plane automatically trimmed that out, so I suspect it might have been a calibration issue with the internal gyro. Flying it at about 25% throttle allowed me to get it to go in a straight line and have some amount of control. Once I had it going my son gave it a try but I think he cranked the throttle and we lost directional control, it ended up flying out of range and we completely lost any ability to control it. It went down in a field a long way from where we were standing and behind some trees so we could not find it after an hour of searching. It was the last day of our trip so I'm guessing it's still there somewhere. Pro tip: write some contact info on your plane and keep it close! Other than the control issues we had (I'm guessing these are QC issues) the plane looks great flying and it's fast, maybe too fast for a first RC.

Plane is fast, please fly in a large area.
I really like the scale look of this airplane and I was impressed with its speed but it has a tendency to lose altitude in continued turning. It mentions this fact in the instruction manual, please heed their warning!

Wheels falling off
Taking off need long run on ground. Wheels falling off all the time. Even though it comes with extra wheels, all gone in 3 flys.
