## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I use baking soda as the powder with this product?**
A: Well, technically I suppose you could, but I don't know how the incredients of the mist will react with the physical properties of the baking soda, and I'm fairly certain that you won't experience the same incredible result on the tough stains as the rest of us. This powder/mist combo is seriously amazing. It takes the toughest stains and makes it like it never happened!

**Q: Would hydrogen peroxide work as a pre mist?**
A: Hydrogen peroxide can have a bleaching effect on carpet fibers much as it does on human hair. The effect may not show up until as much as a day later. At that point It is too late to do anything about the spot. I avoid peroxide as I would also avoid bleach. Hope this helps.

**Q: Is this product safe for wool carpets? IF so, what is the best way to use on wool carpets?**
A: Here is what the manufacturer's website says:
Capture may be used safely on all rugs and carpets made of wool. Capture is approved by the Wool Bureau and will not harm the fibers or the rug.

Use the Pre-Mist in combination with the Capture Powder:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N9OZD9A

**Q: how much pre mist spray do you use?**
A: Drar customerUse enough pre-mist to loosen the stain. So it will vary depending on the type of stain you are trying to remove. If the area is sticky or thick from something like ketchup you may use more than on a simple stain from a spill. I hope this was helpful. Customer support

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did the impossible!!!!
*by M***Y on 31 July 2026*

I think these two Capture products just did the impossible and saved me from having to replace my brand new white carpet after a contractor dropped a box of bright red industrial construction chalk on it! We had zero hope after trying hydrogen peroxide, another cleaner that starts with F, and having it professionally cleaned. Each one made it a better shade of pink but THIS PRODUCT actually got it out!! I am in disbelief!!! Thank you Capture for saving the day!!! I really didn’t think it could be done!!!
