This seems like it is “almost” a clipboard. Where can I tack my other papers and handouts so that I don’t lose them while taking notes?

The capsule cover would be the only way to keep other papers with this interchangeable notepad. It has pockets for storing other things.

What makes this "clip board" different and or better than the rocket book?

Page packs switch very quickly so you can use many different types of page. There's also an Orbit folio that works well as a system.

Is this pad or a single sheet?

it is a pad of about 15 double-sided sheets

How many pages at a time can you attach to the clipboard?

One page pack clips to the board at a time. It attaches by magnets. The page pack comes pre-clipped together. I imagine there's a way to slip pages on and off the rings. They are closed pretty tightly though. I haven't tried because the basic lined/dot grid pack that comes with it was all I needed.
