FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest

There are a lot of cooling vests on Amazon. This one is what I would call "extreme cooling" because it is literally ice against you - 32 degrees. There are others that I have tried that last longer than this because they are not ice, they are a fancy compound that runs at around 60 degrees. Here is how to decide the right one for you: If you need intense cooling that doesn't last as long - go with this one. The quality is awesome I do tons of physical work wearing it and it rocks. The replacement packs are very cheap and you can have a bunch to switch out if you need longer cooling. This vest also has a sweet velco system so it is easy to swap. If you need less intense cooling, go with the fancy 60 degree cooling vests. If you are doing physical work outside in hot sun you will overpower these vests though. They are more useful for less intense, longer term cooling needs. Maybe fishing? I still feel like it wouldn't be enough for me. Also note the replacement packs are extremely expensive.

I bought this vest to keep cool while working with my bee hives wearing bee suits that tend to be very hot, and it works great. I have only used it once so far but i worked my bees for about an hour and stayed very cool the entire time. When i took my vest off the ice was still froze. I would highly recommend this vest for anyone who struggles in the heat.

I love this ice vest. I enjoy so many outdoor activities, but during AZ summers the heat causes migraines. This ice vest has helped to keep my body cool during early pickleball games when the temps are still around the low 90's. It takes 12 hours for the ice packs to fully freeze and last about 1.5 hours in AZ. I purchased another set of ice packs that I keep in a cooler and rotate them out. So, far it's been a good investment and helps regulate body temperature allowing me to enjoy outdoor activities. It's lightweight, non-restrictive. It is easily adjustable for small to larger body types. There are two front pockets to store small items.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and work outside. I have had a couple versions of this vest and I prefer the gray workstyle one. I have several changes of ice to get me through a hot day outside. I am able to function fully wearing this vest- it isn't uncomfortable. It's a light as it could possibly be. I wouldn't be able to work without it. Grateful. If I were to change anything then it would be the shoulder strap system. It's bulkier than necessary especially since I'm short. I don't use the top two ice packs in the front. ;-) It is just more comfortable to me that way. The zipper is sturdy and the size adjusts easily (other than the clunky shoulders). When I was using the blue neoprene one from the same maker then I was able to remove the shoulder velcro and just sew it together.

I bought this for my high school athlete to use at his outdoor track meets in the Houston heat / humidity. He loves it. He'll wear it after events to help him cool down along with hydrating. The inserts must be frozen to use, and we keep them in a cooler until he's ready to use the vest. It will keep him cool for a fair amount of time in the 90 degree heat, but let's be honest, everything melts in Houston heat. We bought a second pair of inserts and we simply swap them out as needed. This is not intended to be an all-day cool vest, but if you can refreeze and swap out the inserts it will serve you well. For size, my son is 5'8" / 120 lbs. and I'm about 5'10" / 185 lbs, and we were both able to adjust it for comfort. I highly recommend.
