I have been using these shavings for a year for my rats. They are good, not dusty and easy to clean out. My rats seem to be good with them. They don't stick up as fast as other shaving I have tried. Just wish they were cheaper. Definitely too expensive.

I have had A LOT A LOT A LOT of small animals and I think I have tried every small animal bedding available. Unfortunately nothing works as good as it used to. Carefresh price is high and quality has declined so I was looking for alternatives. This absorbs fairly well and I am happy that the bag is very compact. (I've noticed Carefresh bags aren't as compact anymore meaning you have to buy MORE). There isn't a scent to this bedding. Biggest drawback is how crumbly the bedding is. I wouldn't recommend for tiny small animals, such as hamsters, mice or rats because of how sensitive their respiratory is. It is ok for LARGER small animals. Oxbow is still the best bedding (and most expensive!), but this works well enough. I will probably purchase again if price stays the same.

Good for the price, but SUPER dusty! Might be ok if you only use a little, but I used it in a brooder for 16 chicks. I ended up with an inch of dust all over the room before I could move them out to the coop. I switched to coarse sand and won't look back.

I use this for our ferrets litter and they are very happy. When ever i order it is shipped very quickly, and in great shape.There is a little dust but not an issue, i feel it is impossible to have a total dust free product like this. I will continue to order from this company.
