The church where I attend has had a DVD duplicator for over a decade, which is used to make copy's of our church services to distribute to those of our congregation that are physically unable to come be with us. This helps them to receive the message and feel more like a part of our church. The drives in this duplicator were becoming worn out physically. They wouldn't open or eject very well, it usually took several tries. I was given the task of fixing this. Because of it's age, the drives and controller were of the IDE persuasion. You can't find drives like those any more, so I had to do a major upgrade. SATA is the current interface on modern drives, so I purchased this controller, and 6 drives. This controller has been working perfectly for a couple months now, and I would recommend it to anyone who may have a need to put together a duplicator. This particular model supports 6 drives, making up to 5 copies at a time. Of course it can be used to make as little as 1 copy. Anyway it works great, and I love it.

Had some leftover BluRay drives. Thought this would be a good use for them. I was right! I'm an Editor - don't have a need for Thousands of discs on some projects. This fills in nicely.
