Bought this three years ago and it's still going strong.- Two speeds on the blower is convenient - I use the lower speed for blowing leaves from mulch beds; easier to keep the mulch from getting blown out of the bed with the leaves.- Particularly impressed by the reliability of the trimmer. It works the same now as when I purchased it. The push-button line feed releases about an inch of line per push, which is perfect. In the past I had a trimmer with an automatic feeder and I found that the spool would empty much faster than this product.

Great trimmer, it is a light to medium duty trimmer, it is light weight, I think it is just over 5lbs, the handle is adjustable,, easy to use, if you are a senior, have a smaller yard, this is a great easy to use product, give the batteries plenty of time to charge, I charged mine the day before using, it will take awhile, I let one charge all day, the other I left on the charger over night, when you charge the battery, make sure they click into the charger, I got about 20-25 minutes of use with each battery, the red twine is good quality, generic twine/spools are good too, the leaf blower is also great, easy to assemble, easy lightweight to use, 1 is slower speed, 2 is high speed, it literally took me less than 45 seconds to do my walkways, driveway, and the street, the battery powered equipment works for me, they are hassle free!!!!

Our new string trimmer has one day of operation, so any review is far from complete. That said, the trimmer performed better than expected in many respects. It knocked down some very thick grass, was lightweight and much quieter than a gas powered trimmer. However, the first battery lasted only about 15 minutes, and when it was put on the charger it was unresponsive and apparently shot. I contacted Amazon, and they could only offer a 20% discount on the total purchase, about $22, which did not come close to covering the cost of one new battery, but I took what I could get. The second battery performed well, and when it was put on the charger, it recharged as expected.The biggest drawback to this purchase was the initial assembly. The instructions are two small pages of cave drawings. I am mechanically adept, and I work puzzles, but no innate ability allowed me to successfully complete the assembly. Most of the process is strait forward , but in the end, I needed to watch several U TUBE videos to complete the assembly. If you are not mechanically inclined or have a close and willing accomplice, you are taking a risk buying this machine. Otherwise, it's a pretty good buy.

This is a surprisingly powerful lawn trimmer. I say surprisingly, since I wasn’t expecting too much for the price and based on some of the reviews. It’s very lightweight, and the fishing line lasted quite a while without the need to feed out more. The batteries are small along with the charger and when I received it they were only partially charged, but after a full charge they last long enough to do a decent-sized yard. I actually torture-tested this lawn trimmer right out of the gate since my Ryobi had given up the ghost and I hadn’t been able to trim the yard for several weeks. However, it did very well. If you’re expecting commercial lawn care gas trimmer performance you’ll be disappointed, but for a homeowner and weekly use, this is a great trimmer and a great deal.

I usually wait to allow a true test of a product before leaving a review but in this case I feel confident to do this immediately. I purchased basically the same item over 15 years ago and that one just quit working. I very impressed and please with the performance and longevity of the previous one. Being a 5'1" 63 year old woman the lightweight is very important to me. I am so awed by the WORX brand that I plan to purchase their entire line of products as they become needed. Friends, have no doubt this is a quality product, simple to use and will last a long time. Thanks WORX

As a woman, I was having difficulty doing edging and weed eating tasks with the heavier gas powered machine. This battery operated one is exceptional for me to use. It's lightweight, does the job, I don't have to get down there and be messing with this stupid string because it's automatic with a button, I could go on and on. If the day comes that this breaks I will purchase another. So worth it.

I've had this trimmer for almost one year. The good: it is so lighweight! I appreciate that very much. The batteries are good for about 30 minutes or so, charge fast, and give plenty of power. The not-so-good: I could never get the shield to toe-bump to a different position as explained in the instructions to go from edger to trimmer. I watched videos, too, and mine just never adjusted, so I could use it for edging, but not trimming (I need both). The other issue that is very irritating is the replacement string line I bought separately had tangled spools, with the line sort of "melted" together so you had to get sharp pointy scissors to dig in the spool to make a new start line every 30 seconds or so. The .65 line has a hard time getting through St. Augustine runners, but seems to be standard light-duty string. That is not a reflection on the Worx trimmer, but just so you are aware, I am noting it here. I don't recall having these problems with the spools that came with the trimmer. At any rate, it doesn't work for my needs, and I am disappointed. It wasn't that cheap when I bought it but with the issue of not being able to trim, it's not worth much to me now.

I bought this set because we’re poor and needed something to keep our yard maintenanced. It has exceeded all expectations. The weedeater is durable and has withstood our .5 acre yard with ease. The leaf blower has good power when it is on high. The battery charges slow but last a good hit. I would by the again but I haven’t had to be it is well built and easy to assemble. Pretty light weight too- I have arthritis and this is important to me
