Great product and excellent customer service!
Update - This is a great seller! They reached out to me and offered to replace the keyboard when I had a problem and I don't even have to send back the original. I've updated my review to reflect the excellent customer service. Mistakes are inevitable in life but how we handle them is what makes the quality of our character. Buy with confidence from these people. They'll take care if you if anything goes wrong. The keyboard is great for typing and I like the track pad a lot for when I'm composing music on piano across the room from my computer and a mouse is inconvenient. The track pad is a little small for long periods of use but it's great for when a mouse would be one too many devices taking up space. It's great if you're using a tablet or phone, for instance. The size of the track pad is a trade off between usability and form factor and I think the designers hit a sweet spot between the two. Having full sized keys to type with is more important to me than a larger track pad and the keys work well enough for my purposes to do quite a bit of typing on. If you need a keyboard with track pad built in, this is a good choice! ******* Original review The keyboard I received only works in WiFi mode. According to the Windows Bluetooth dialogue, the device pairs and connects but the PC doesn't actually receive any input from it when in bt mode. It only receives input when using the WiFi dongle. I really need the Bluetooth feature for when I'm working at a greater distance from the PC. Return on this is a pain too because I can't just drop it off at UPS. I have to find a box, package it, and print the label myself. Not a huge deal but more of a pain than I want to mess with. Disappointed all around. Other than that, it's a nice keyboard, good clicky keys, metal body, doesn't slide around on your desk. Gave two stars because it would be great if the Bluetooth option actually worked.

Works as described. Great price
Single best and most useful thing on my desk. It makes moving between multiple screens and computers seamless. My only suggestion for upgrade would be to make the track pad a little.less tactile. It does not allow for fingers to move smoothly like the trackpad on my laptop. I am sure it is a way of keeping costs down but I would be willing to pay more for anupgraded version.

Worked well, good customer service
[edit: re-editing back to 4 star for one specific reason: great customer service, they saw the review, replaced the keyboard free of charge, no ship back required] Purchased for a living room keyboard to my HTPC. Pretty happy overall. Pros: * Good price for the functionality * Easy to use (see Linux BT LE caveat at bottom) * Decent key feel * Light Weight Cons: * I would rather the 3 device buttons (USB Dongle, BT 1, BT2) on the top right were switches rather than keys. They're a bit too easy to press. * Aluminum clear finish is a fingerprint magnet. Like as in rare earth magnet and oily fingers. Overall, I'm happy and would buy again. I quickly got it to pair with the USB dongle to my Linux desktop PC (Bazzite 44). 0 issues, quickly recognized. I then paired it to my Pixel 9A over BT, same ease of use. The Linux caveat comes in on connecting it to Bluetooth LE on a desktop PC (I use a TP-Link BT 5.3 USB adapter). At least for KDE the LE mode isn't enabled by default. I had to use `bluetoothctl` to turn on LE, pair and trust. Once done, the device "just works" with KDE. Steam "Game Mode" use is supposed to be smoother, understanding LE connections natively, but I can't test that just yet. PS. I will say keyboard this is meant for light / HTPC / table|phone use. If you're going to use it as a daily driver go really light on the wider keys like backspace. My first unit had the backspace keycap break off in a way that couldn't be repaired. However customer service did replace that keyboard and I'm happy with it how I'm using it now.

Great keyboard with features on top of features
This has honestly got to be one of my best purchases from Amazon. Given I have hundreds, that means a lot. So that I don't end up rambling about why I like this keyboard, I'll sum it up with some bullet points... - High quality build - Great responsiveness from keys and trackpad - Cool and unique design (the photos don't do it justice even though it looks good there too) - Easy to type on due to the streamlined design - Zero issues with Bluetooth and never had to go back and restart the Bluetooth connection through the settings - Switching from the dongle to the 2 Bluetooth (and vice versa) is easy and has quick responsiveness (with some understandable delay in time to register) - Amazing customer support Two small things that would make this great device even better is if there were backlight options and if the keys could be quieter. The second might have more to do with induvial user's experiences but the option to have lights or none at all would likely make for an even better keyboard.

I really wanted this keyboard to be my answer!
I love the look of it, and it feels solid. I'm not an expert typist, and I have to look at the keyboard, but I am a writer, so I'm constantly at the desk. I don't know if I just don't get it, or if there may be a problem with the keyboard. But, it took me literally WEEKS to finally get it connected to my desktop, and I loved it...while it lasted. When I was finished for the night, I didn't do anything to either the keyboard or the desktop, I just left them on so I could pick up where I left off. Probably not the mosttefficient use , but it's how I do it. I returned to my desk about 12 hours later, and the keyboard was no longer connected. I really seem to have a hard time with Bluetooth devices staying connected from one session to the next. Maybe you're supposed to have to reconnect every time, but if that is the case, then Bluetooth is way too time consuming to use and I don't like it. Every time, I have to pair the keyboard with the desktop, and it can take several minutes to do that. Especially without a keyboard and mouse to navigate to the settings. That, on top of the fact there are a total of 4 other unidentified keyboards I have tried to use, I don't even know what to remove, so the count rises. I guess I need a course in how to understand technology. After messing around with it for often times more than an hour, just trying to figure out where I go wrong, I've either run out of motivation or don't have time to start something I know I won't be able to finish and consider it a total loss. I love the style and feel of this keyboard. But I can never get the thing to work properly. SOmetimes, if I do connect, I still only have the keyboard and have to find a mouse, which defeats the whole purpose. I've had it for several months now, and been able to use it for maybe 8-10 hours total. I was so happy with the feel of it and the size, and I am older now and my fingers just can't do those really small keyboards, plus I have a very cluttered desk since the fire and everything has been piled up on it for now. This allowed me to function (or would have) in a considerably smaller area while having everything in one. I'd buy another one just to see if maybe this one has some defect, but it's way too late to return it now, so it's just sitting on the pile that clutters my desk lol. Like a cruel joke. I can tell this is a well-made product, and I see a LOT of very satisfied reviews. I wanted to be one! But I'll do three stars, just because I think it is an isolated problem most people won't have. You can't beat the price. As long as you only have to buy it once!

The Versatile keyboard that got you covered
Good keyboard, wireless features work well, Bluetooth features work well, very convenient I can use it on two different devices at the same time by activating the mode button keys. Rechargeable battery is questionable, not sure how long it will last without a recharge. Keys are not backlight, overall small footprint, trackpad somewhat small, battery indicator feature helpful. I would say good value for the price.

Does exactly what I needed!
This Bluetooth keyboard is an amazing value. It was inexpensive, and so far has excellent performance. Easy to pair, rechargeable, and I've had no issues with it going to sleep prematurely or losing contact with my Mac. It does not have the quality or the features you would get with an Apple keyboard and trackpack, but this is a fraction of the price. The trackpad is a little cramped, but that is a necessary compromise to make it fit in your lap while you sit on the sofa (which is how I use it.) And it doesn't support the gestures that an Apple trackpad does. But again, for the price and convenience, I'll live with that. There is a bit of a lag when typing, so if you are a really fast typer, you'll notice that, but it doesn't cause any problems for me. Some people had mentioned it dropped the connection while typing, but it's been rock solid for me. It's worth noting that Arteck makes both a Bluetooth and a USB-dongle version of this keyboard. The BT verion was only $1 more and it includes the dongle, so you can always fall back on that if you have BT issues. Can't imagine why anyone would want the other version. I bought it by mistake, sent it back and this one has been perfect. Really excited about it and wish I had gotten it years ago.

Best of the Few
I wanted a wireless keyboard with a track pad that I could use from a recliner while coding, surfing the web and watching movies on my HTPC. This seems to have been asking for a unicorn because of the 6 keyboards I tried, none quite checked all the boxes. The Arteck HD197 (this keyboard) came the closest though, and is what I ended up settling for. Pros: - typing is responsive and feels much better than the Logitech K400 Pro and similar keyboards I tried. I can do some serious typing with these keys! Measured 80+ wpm while leaned back in a recliner. - perfect weight for lap typing, and the feet dont slide too much while in a recliner. - love the ability to switch between 3 devices using 2 Bluetooth connections and a 2.4ghz dongle. I use it to switch between a work laptop, iPad Air gen 3, and a Linux HTPC. - affordable. Mehs: - stainless still finish is kinda nice looking at first (would have preferred all black), but gradually accumulates finger prints and smudges. Cons: - sometimes the mouse will fall asleep but not the keyboard and vice versa. This can cause key remaps to be lost when the keyboard wakes, requiring them to be reapplied after every sleep. I created a script to detect connections and reapply keymaps, but this should not be needed. - serious ghosting due to strange key wiring. Some key combinations work fine (like caps lock + win key + 1), while similar ones do not (caps + win + 2). - strange inconsistencies between connection methods. On 2.4 ghz dongle I cannot select multiple browser tabs with shift + click, but I can when using Bluetooth. - prefer rechargeable batteries over irreplaceable lithium ion for sake of the environment and long term use. - not the easiest keyboard to clean, crumbs and such are hard to get out if they get behind the relatively large holes around the keys. - the new keyboard version no longer reports charge percentage via Bluetooth, but the old version did. Note there are two versions of this keyboard (see picture). The new one uses USB-C for changing, has a back button symbol above the keyboard, has connection LEDs that stay constantly lit while connected, and has some new quirky ghosting on 2.4 ghz that the old keyboard doesn't have (like shift + left click not working), and doesn't report battery percentage via bluetooth. The old version uses micro USB, has what I guess is a switch app button above the mouse, has connection LEDs that blink while connected, and doesn't suffer the new 2.4ghz ghosting but still has all the other previously mentioned ghosting, and reports battery life via bluetooth. It seems if you get a used or refurb keyboard it might be the old version, while new orders gave me only the new version. Overall I prefer the new version, though I really wish Arteck hadn't introduced additional ghosting. If you only want to do light typing, I suggest going with the Logitech K400 Pro. While its track pad is tiny, it is usable. If you want to do something more typing intensive, this is the best keyboard I have found with multi-device connect and a touchpad. If you can live with just a single Bluetooth connection, you might want to consider the Arteck HB305-4B. It has a slightly nicer black finish and keys feel a bit smoother to touch, but ghosting and other problems remain. I really wish there was a better engineered premium wireless keyboard with touchpad and multi-device connect. I would be willing to pay at least twice as much for one. But as of 2025 Q2 this is the best of the few available, so if the cons aren't deal breakers, give it a go!
