Vizio Original XRT510 LED TV Remote Control

I purchased this to replace the remote that came with my new VIZIO E470i-A0 47 which I purchased in December. The remote that came with that was intolerable to me. I like this because it's back lit, the buttons are larger and more spread apart. I keep the lights low or even off when watching TV or films so I need a remote I can see. I have learned most of it already so the major functions I don't need to look at but the lighting feature is still nice. I DO agree with some other reviews where the remote buttons are hard to operate but that seems to have worked itself out. I would say I was just I was just getting used to it but when I purchased a VIZIO 32" M series TV for my bedroom this is the exact remote which comes with that. That remote was "sticky" at 1st as well and is now working fine after a few weeks. I would say this is a really nice remote and worth the short $$. Again.. the back lighting is great! (hint/trick... learn immediately where the volume up/down rocker key is and use that to light the remote THEN look for the other controls rather than just pushing what you THINK is correct button and possibly changing what you are watching.)

My original Vizio remote control stopped working so I took a chance and ordered this. It worked perfectly as soon as I put batteries in it, and as a bonus, it has an alpha keyboard on the back for typing streaming passwords, although this only works reliably if you're using Vizio apps to stream.

Bought this remote with my new E-Series Vizio. I hated the remote that came with it. It was a loud, clunky, and wasn't backlit.I did some googling and it was never clear if this remote worked on the E-Series other than it was a "universal remote." I bought it and figured I'd return it if it didn't. It does work, and does come with some extra buttons I can't use (like 3D). But it's nicely backlit for dark room viewing, its quiet when clicking buttons and feels better than the one that came with the E-Series.I would highly recommend spending the extra $17 for this remote.

When I bought my new Vizio TV the remote would only work if I took the batteries out and put the back in and then only for a short time.I called Vizio and they had me press every button twice and do this and do that.It worked for a short time.I called Vizio again and told them I wasn't going to push every button twice again and was told that would not help and had me do a number of steps and it worked for a short time again.I ordered a new remote from Amazon and my frustrations are gone.I will hesitate before I buy another Vizio product.Thank you Amazon.

Nice to have original control again for all funtions the TV has...

Works great for my model Vizeo TV as listed that it would in their add. Only reason i did not give it 5 stars is the range for operation of some features like volume seem to require the remote to be within 5 feet of the TV sensor to work. It suits my needs as i normally sit close to my 55" 3D TV and love watching 3D Blurays. This remote allows me all access to the complete TV advanced programming including filling the screen and sliding the image and to get optimum viewing and quality.

I bought this to replace the remote that came with our TV which had been dropped several times and was worn out. The battery life of the original remote was terrible but the battery life with this remote is much better. I’m not convinced it’s a genuine Vizio part however it’s fully functional and as mentioned the battery life is much better than my original remote.
