## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used to transmit RCA output from an old record player to a wireless speaker system or is it just a receiver?**
A: Hi, Mike. The Belkin Soundform Connect is more like an adapter that turns your stereo or soundbar into an AirPlay 2-enabled speaker. Once connected, you can easily stream audio to your speaker directly from your iOS or macOS devices.

**Q: Cane this device be added to homekit app?**
A: It can but you will get more functionality from the manufacturers app

**Q: Does this support airplay peer to peer mode (no wifi required, direct connection to iphone)?**
A: No, badger. The Belkin AUZ002 adapter requires an active WiFi connection to be used.

**Q: can multiple devices be individually addressed by e.g. soundsource or loopback or the mac audio setup to deliver different streams to them?**
A: Hi, D. Goddard,

The Belkin Audio Adapter (AUZ002) uses AirPlay 2 protocol so it shows up as a device on that wireless network. Your Airplay 2 compatible devices should be connected to the same network as the AUZ002 before using them, but not simultaneously.
