All the most advertised nootropic (cognitive enhancer) brands I've seen have Phosphatidylserine as one of their top ingredients. I'm more alert and my recall is much improved when I take it. I've also found that 500 mg is a good daily dose, and sometimes take 2 if I think I need a special brain boost. Difficult to swallow safely
The "softgels" are hard, and hard to swallow. Their shape makes it easy to choke, and their size and shape would block the airway, if the pill slipped into the wrong passage. I threw them away.
