Bulk Pea Protein Isolate Powder, Vanilla, 500g

Great value got money! I bought this after looking for a vegan protein powder that was decent and this is it. The flavour is decent (vanilla) and mixes well into oats and yoghurt. Ive had it even with water as a shake and it was fine, mixes well and is smooth. Of course it's not mind blowingly delicious, it's protein powder! But it's really decent and I will be purchasing again for it's effectiveness and value for money.

Have to say firstly am astounded by the positive reviews, secondly this is my first taste of a protein powder. Now that I am an over 50 female I am learning that it is a good idea to find ways to include more protein in your diet and honestly its not always so easy to do on a daily basis and also having a dairy & gluten intolerance can make things tricky. I have been reading up about adding protein powder to smoothies porridge etc... I admit the price is great & that it is made of pea but i'm sorry it tasted disgusting. I added a small scoop to a banana, peanut butter smoothie and it was soooo sweet and had a synthetic taste from the stevia despite stevia being a natural sugar, I just do not like it. It was also very chalky and gritty despite using a powerful blender. I was so excited to try this but I struggled to finish my smoothie. It sadly went in the bin. I just could not face having this on a daily basis.

I found this protein to be really good. As someone who cannot tolerate whey protein and is allergic to pea protein, I was looking for a cost effective alternative for protein source. This is a really good source, the flavour I got is a bit earthy I won’t lie, however I can flavour the protein with other means and it tastes absolutely fine. In terms of mixability, it is a bit dense (a bit like when you use other vegan proteins) so you have to work with it but it does mix in with patience and persistence.

First impressions were not good, had to just grin and bare it, the stevia left a bitter after taste but to my surprise after a couple days I was used to the taste and now there's no after taste and tastes alot more sweet and vanillary. I will be buying again

I regularly buy either vanilla, banana or unflavoured. Taste good be better but I'd advise everyone to look at ingredients list and compare with other protein powders. This powder has only 2, stevia and pea protein. Others, many unnecessary harmful stuff like stabilisers and sugar.

As a pea protein, I was expecting the taste to be pretty bland and it certainly is, doesn't taste like vanilla at all, only tastes of sweetener. However, mixes quite well with water/dairy free drinks and makes nice and thick shakes with other add-ons (sugar free syrup, flavorings, coffee, peanut butter, fruits...). Bland taste means I can add this to anything and everything - I have used it to make protein shakes, pancakes and bakes so far, and worked surprisingly well. Keeps you full for hours! Value is great too. I would recommend.

Been ordering for a few months and was one of the best tasting protein powders I had tried. Last two packets ordered have been binned almost immediately as they taste completely rancid

Okay the value for money is amazing protein is good ,but its far far far to sweet ,everything is good in it apart and it's a massive apart from the added sweetener add stevia extract is a massive failure for me from bulk foods it doesn't need to be in it ,I have put it in the bin £26 in the bin disappointing,,,but if people like sweet stuff it's good for you ,it's not for me tho 🥺

Cumplió mis expectativas, es delicioso. Toca hacerla en licuadora porque si es un poco arenosa.

Proteine ottime, personalmente tra le migliori che abbia provato sia come sapore che come solubilità.

Sicuramente di buona qualità, ma il gusto alla vaniglia ha un sapore pessimo, nauseabondo, non copre il retrogusto di "terra" del pisello. Inoltre, anche se si sciolgono facilmente girando un po' con il cucchiaino, la consistenza è farinosa. Le Bulk Whey al cioccolato sembrano un dessert in confronto. Ho voluto prendere queste a base vegetale perché le Whey (derivate dal siero del latte) danno un eccessivo senso di gonfiore addominale, di pesantezza, ma sono incomparabili a livello di gusto. Delusa anche dalla mancanza di BCAA, non ho fatto caso che in queste non ci sono.

This is disgustingly. The texture is chalky and the flavour is dreadful. Tried once and won’t reuse. I’ve had other vegan protein powders before that are delicious so this is just a poor brand.
