While not intended for every knife it ha]ens to fit the Gerber Armbar cork. As it wasn't intentional for this knife the fero-rod doesn't screw in all the way. The plastic threaded part could be sanded down a little to fit easy enough so the cork screw can completely fold to its rest position.

If you carry a Swiss Army Knife that has a corkscrew these are a must, in my humble opinion. I use shrink tube around them to keep the fire wick from breaking apart in my pocket/pack which is a terrific solution.

My wife said the spark in our marriage is gone. I figured why not have the ability to make sparks wherever I am by adding this to my EDC swiss army knife. Now things are so hot they are being set on fire.

Convenient, but are they practical? Here is why I am thinking "No",,, They are very small, and well packaged, in delivery and in the knive body, but that 'they are small' thing,,, They are difficult to use when your hands are nice and warm and dry; what happens when you are near frozen stiff and can barely feel your fingers let alone move them with ease? As a "if you don't have it, you'll be looking for it" backup, I give it five-stars,, as a practical peice of kit, three stars.
