I took a year to become a mini mycologist and to learn how to cultivate, harvest, and use mushrooms (from the rare and store-bought varieties to the magical, trippy hippy varieties). Everyone has their tricks and tips. Some may look down on using this, but I found great success. I first tried the food using the bucket method to grow oyster mushrooms. One bucket had my original medium in it and the other had a mixture of my medium plus the fruiting food. The bucket with the fruiting food started to produce healthy exudate and fruiting bodies a lot faster, gave me heavier fruits, and continued to feed the mycelium longer than the other bucket. Best part is: I don't use a lot. It's been over a year and I'm still using the same bag of pellets to grow great mushrooms. Review: Great Mushroom Substrate - I am new to growing mushrooms and found this Master Mix exactly what a newbie needs. I am currently growing Lion's Mane mushrooms. I added my colonized grain to the master mix 4 days ago. I am already seeing the mycelium growing. In just 4 days! That is awesome!!! Very excited! Can't wait to see how much I will harvest! The product looks like hard wood pellets that go into a smoker. There are no directions. Just sticker that tells you the content and who makes it. If you are using this for growing mushrooms and you need help with what to do. Look up growing mushrooms on YouTube. That is where I got all my information. I will purchase more when I run out. Very satisfied with my purchase. ## Features - Premium Pellets: Crafted with precision, our pellets consist of 50% oak and 50% soy hull pellets, providing the perfect balance for mushroom growth. - Accelerate Mushroom Cultivation: MushroomMediaOnline's Fast Fruiting Pellets create an optimal environment for rapid mycelium colonization and fruiting, ensuring quicker harvests and higher yields. - Versatile Usage: Suitable for a variety of mushroom species including oyster mushrooms, shiitake, and more, catering to both hobbyists and commercial growers seeking reliable, high-quality substrates. - Easy to Use: With simple instructions, just add water, sterilize if needed, inoculate with your chosen mushroom strain, and witness thriving mushrooms in our substrate. - High Yields: The fine texture and uniform consistency of our substrate encourage mycelium spread, leading to accelerated fruiting and increased harvest yields, ensuring a fruitful cultivation journey. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08CHPKP3V | | Best Sellers Rank | #74,956 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #12 in Plant Starter Pellets #752 in Garden Soil | | Brand Name | MushroomMediaOnline | | Capacity | 10 pounds | | Color | Natural | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 356 Reviews | | Finish Types | Unfinished | | Included Components | Fast Fruiting Mix Bag | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions | 5 x 11 x 16 inches | | Item Weight | 10 pounds | | Manufacturer | Mushroom Media Online | | Manufacturer Part Number | mush-fastfruiting-1 | | Material | Oak Sawdust, Soybean Hulls | | Material Type | Oak Sawdust, Soybean Hulls | | Model Number | Fast Fruiting-1 | | Number of Pieces | 10 | | Other Special Features of the Product | 50% Oak and 50% Soy | | Pattern | Solid | | Plant or Animal Product Type | mushroom | | Planter Form | Bag | | Product Style | Modren | | Shape | Pellets | | Size | 10 Pound (Pack of 1) | | Special Feature | 50% Oak and 50% Soy | | Style | Modren | | Subject Character | 50% Oak and 50% Soy | | Theme | Mushroom Cultivation | | UPC | 647095945313 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Oak Sawdust, Soybean Hulls - **Planter Form:** Bag - **Shape:** Pellets - **Special Feature:** 50% Oak and 50% Soy - **Style:** Modren ## Images ![Fast Fruiting Pellets, aka Masters Mix (50% Oak and 50% Soy) - Ideal and Fast-Growing Substrate for Mushroom Cultivation, Oyster Mushrooms, Shiitake, and More (10 Pounds) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61kxVUa1OmL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Item Weight** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are there instructions for mixing with water for proper field capacity?** A: no. **Q: Is there mushroom seeds in the package?** A: No. You have to supply that. **Q: Is the packaging generic?** A: Nope the packaging is not generic. A little on the expensive side, but there is not really any competition in that regard. I can not complain, so far, so good. ## Frequently Bought Together - MushroomMediaOnline: Fast Fruiting Pellets, aka Masters Mix (50% Oak and 50% Soy) - Ideal and Fast-Growing Substrate for Mushroom Cultivation, Oyster Mushrooms, Shiitake, and More (10, Pounds) - Mushroom Bags,Mushroom Grow Bag Farm-Mushroom Spawn Bags Sealable Spawn Myco Bags,Large Size 8" X 5" X 19",0.5 Micron Filter, 3 Mil Polypropylene, for Su,for Substrate Autoclavable Mushroom Cultivation - 3M Micropore Tape 1530-1 (2 rolls) 1 x 10 yards --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/344657606-fast-fruiting-pellets-aka-masters-mix-50-oak-and-50](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/344657606-fast-fruiting-pellets-aka-masters-mix-50-oak-and-50) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
