Does what it's meant to do
I bought these and also a cheap alternative. They're almost identical. I actually prefer the cheaper one because the hook is on a different side so the angle is easier (this is personal preference rather than a fault).

Game Changer Tool
I am so glad I found these removal tools for my retainers. I recently got out of braces and was fitted with retainers to wear nightly. The retainers fit so snugly, it was difficult to put them in, and removing them was impossible. I fought with them for 30 minutes and bruised my gums. My orthodontist gave me a hook type tool to help. The first night, the hook stretched and broke. After finding this tool on Amazon, I decided to try it. Iโm getting the hang of it, and this Pul tool is a game changer. It is sturdy yet easy on the mouth with the correct angle for grabbing the edge of my retainer. It has a nice handle ring at the end for easy holding. Without the assistance of the Pul, I may not have ever worn the retainers.

Works well, would purchase again
These work well for my daughter and one conveniently fits in with her trays in the INVISALIGN case we also purchased on Amazon. We would purchase again.

Makes removal SO MUCH easier.
I'm very new to Invisalign, with lots of attachments, and I was absolutely STRUGGLING to remove my trays. I felt like I was having to almost shove my whole hand in my mouth to get them out and feared I'd eventually end up cutting a finger on the edge of a tray from the force I was having to use to remove them. I dreaded having to take them out and was seriously questioning my choice of Invisalign over braces. When I was looking through tips for Invisalign users before getting my trays, I remember running across this tool. I ordered a pack within a few days of having the trays and it has made removal SO MUCH EASIER! I do not dread taking them out anymore. If you get everything in the original Invisalign case just right, you can sort of manage to get the case to close with the trays and the tool, but it doesn't happen often. The PUL case is certainly a better fit. I am slightly concerned that frequent pulling in the same spot on the trays with the hook may cause it to bow out slightly along an edge. For that reason, I try to somewhat vary where I am pulling and stick to pulling from the back teeth where it wouldn't be noticeable and would be less irritating if it did bow out a bit. Again, this is only a concern, but I have not experienced this happening at this point. Given the long term commitment of Invisalign, I highly recommend this tool. If you always have the case with you anyway (preferable the PUL case), then its no more of a hassle to also have the PUL tool with you, stored inside your PUL case.
