This was the perfect solution. We added a portable AC unit to our ground floor window and needed to feel safe. We tested it with as much weight as we could put on it, and the window bully won't budge. It's great! I installed it slightly tilted (my mistake) but i don't see any issues with that, it still works perfectly. And we can open and close the window as we please with no crazy contraption to install and reinstall each time!

I am very happy with these. They were incredibly convenient to install and seem pretty strong. I love the holder for when I want to remove the block and open the window all the way. Nothing is going to stop someone who is hellbent on breaking in (they could just break the window) but these give me a good piece of mind at night when I want to leave my windows open a crack. They work as a deterrent and at least I will hear if someone is trying to get in.

My co worker recommended these for my windows. I feel better knowing I can keep my windows open and they are secured.

Fortunately these locks were never put to the test but I felt secure when I did use them.

Installed over 6 months ago and no problems. Easy to be able to open the window from the inside if needed. I don't have rust at this point. I haven't moved so I don't know how easy the permanent removal will be. With drug use rising, sometimes people get desperate and look to break in and steal things. I feel this protects my apartment. But, I sleep better knowing it is much harder for someone to break in when I'm sleeping.

Easy to install, good instructions, very solid attachment even a month out. It stands up to quite a bit of resistance too (though I haven't had someone attempt to break in so I'm not sure the extent of how solid. This item works even on the frame part of the window (as opposed to the glass) and is especially effective for windows that open from the top and bottom.

I bought this to replace one that I had on my window for 3 years. I had to use fishing line to remove it from the window like it says in the instructions. So when I put the new one I thought I was all set. Not so,I was sitting at home and heard a sound from my window and it was the Window Bully lying on the window sill. I had cleaned the windows before applying it to the window and it seemed pretty much stuck but after awhile it just fell off. I would not recommend at all. Im just happy that it fell off when I was home and not because someone that was trying to get in didn't just lift the unprotected window.

These were easy to install and work exactly as advertised. Since my windows have the grilles inside, it helps to hid the mounted portion on the outside of the window.I needed 3, but only bought the 2 pack. Not sure I want to pay for another 2 for just 1.I only deducted 1 star because I am concerned that a crowbar at the base of the cracked window could pop them off. Let's hope not!
