I ran a quick check on drive integrity in crystaldiskinfo upon first boot, very impressed with drive health. The drive I recieved runs perfectly fine for me, I'm pleased with the storage capacity for my needs. I am running this externally for compability reasons. Did have to format for my pc to recognize the drive otherwise.

I only had this for a short time but so far so good it’s nice and quiet and the price was decent. Not OK just decent.

Installation was a snap... just plug and play. Have not noticed any data loss. Speed is good for my little NAS. So far so good.

I received mine and the first impression was not good, because I ordered a NAS drive and I received an Enterprise drive. Anyway I will use it for a desktop computer, so it doesn't make any difference for me. I installed it and ran CristalDiskInfo. The program said it is a new drive, with cero power on hours and cero power on count, so I imagine the drive is new. Then I checked it with CristalDiskMark and the write and read speeds are more than 200 MB/s, which is very good for a SATA hard drive. Satisfied so far.

I use this drive as the primary drive for my desktop computer. For what I use my computer for, I definitely needed a mechanical drive instead of a solid state drive. Out of the six terabyte capacity, I have about 2.1 terabytes left (Yes, I store a lot of data. Some people might think that is a bit excessive.). The fact that the drive operates at 7200 RPM is a huge plus. Normally, I am only able to find this high of a drive capacity in a 5400 RPM drive.

Drive works and packed well. But, this was advertised as a 7200rpm drive. The label on the outside of the drive says 7200rpm. Except that the drive info reports it is 5400rpm (CrystalDiskInfo and HardDiskSentinal). Drive speed was part of why I selected this drive. Disappointing to get a lesser drive. Also seems much noisier. I had gotten another MDD drive in a larger capacity a few weeks ago and that one was 7200rpm as advertised and has been running great so far. Was expecting the same.

These were packed well, appeared new and disk verification confirmed they are in perfect condition. They are a great choice for a NAS with competitive price per terabyte. 3-year warranty put me at ease. Glad I got them.

My use case for the two of these drives is in my secondary NAS (Synology DS420J); this NAS is utilized as part of my 3-2-1 backup to my primary NAS (DS920+). I did notice these run a tad warmer than the other two drives I have in the NAS (but as they aren't like for like, I won't post exact temps here). The drives are very quiet in use, Capacity and speed are as advertised, so no issue there. I've been running these for 10 months now (purchased Oct 24 and we're now at Aug 25) without issue; in fact, with my next paycheck, I'm going to order two more of these refurbs! Excellent Value - would highly recommend.

Was a bit worried about these being refurbished drives with a high fail rate. I've installed it into onto my Unraid NAS and have ran the pre-clear feature, no issues were found. Fingers crossed it continues issue free. Best value 6TB drive without a doubt.

works as described, just has issues with power fade (tick of death) and looks like drive will need to be replaced before expected.

This is the best price per TB I've found. Perfect for game files and movies and music.
