General Jim's Military Modular Building Blocks Set - World War II Gustav Dora HeavyCannon Railway Gun, Railway Car | Compatible with Lego Sets and All Major Brands

Bought this for myself about a year and a half ago while my roommates and I were on a Lego craze and wanted something that was a bit more substantial for our buck than the name brand would give us. This was certainly the centerpiece of our displays on size alone.The base and gun are easy enough to assemble on their own, and there is nothing terribly challenging about fitting the individual parts together, but once assembled the barrel of the gun has a similar fatal flaw to the real world weapon this mimics, it's terribly unstable and WILL wilt. There are certain angles you can get the gun straight, but most of the time, unless you invest in a clear pole to prop the gun, it will be leaning.As much fun as the gun and build themselves are, the best part of the set is the one thing they seem to have left out of the information. The gun comes with around 8 unique Minifigs. (I think its around 8-10, It's packed for a move and I don't recall the exact number.) Now minifigs are one thing, but given the nature of the weapon advertised, I don't think I need to tell you just what historic European military they are based on. But even these pale in comparison to the true shocker, the leader of this unnamed faction is also part of the figures accompanying the set.My roommates and I were nearly in tears laughing about it. Now my lego collection has a genuine villain to face in mock battles.

This was a Christmas gift and it was truly loved. It took 4days to do. But sometimes there was issues with the brick staying together. More muscle always worked! It is a beautiful WW II piece

Multiple spare parts, great instructions, and immense detail!

Great set. My son loved it. Only took away one star because we were missing a piece.
