My experience with trigger devils.
They work as described! The price is a little steep. However, the owner stands behind and fully backs his product. Because of this I have no worries that if I sent one in because it broke they would send me a replacement. I am a do it yourself type of person. I refuse to spend 20 dollars on crappier peel and stick on versions of this product, or spend 150+ for a company to add paddles or buttons to the back of my controller. I used a 15$ remap board and some tactile buttons and did that myself. The only part I had difficulty with was making hair triggers. I have gone without for the past couple years. After discovering this product recently I have stopped playing flipped button layout and started using the L2 and R2 for aim and shoot as opposed to L1 and R1 for first person shooters. The trigger devils also have made it so that you can quickly use equipment in games if you still play flipped layout without having to take your finger off of the aim and shoot button. For pro players this could be vital in wining a gun fight. I am surprised these are not as popular as kontrol freeks. If my controller breaks, I buy a new 40 dollar one on amazon. Swap the back i made with the remap buttons and pop on the trigger devils i was using on the broken controller. If you read this far a 20 dollar investment will be well worth your time if you are looking for an easy to use quick controller enhancement like myself for the L2 and R2 DS4 controller.

They cost more than kontrol freaks and they're basement manufacture quality useless trash. Like every other review here mine did
Not sure how Amazon has these at 4 stars when all the verified purchase reviews basically say they're junk. They cost more than kontrol freaks and they're basement manufacture quality useless trash. Like every other review here mine didn't work. It wasn't the "stops", they fit around all sides of the button including the space between the trigger and its upper 'rest' and keeps them from fully returning to their starting position, essentially holding them down. This froze the controler completely(all buttons) in Dishonored. I tried to thin out the top part but the button was too loose inside the thing. When I shimmed the space at the bottom they seemed to work for a second until the button came off. Theres no way I'm going to stop the game, unmount the controler so attaching the thing and shimming it doesnt result in a bunch of random button presses, and reshim and reattach the stop every couple minutes. I think the review ratings are high from shills or something, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, THESE ARE USELESS.

I give it three stars because they haven't been working ...
I give it three stars because they haven't been working well in Destiny for the PS4. The bottom part of the trigger rarely works when I'm trying to fire. The upper part (the rocker) appears to be working quite well. I'm thinking as I play more and get used to using the rocker, my rating may go up. I filed down the stopper, and that helped use the whole trigger a little more consistently, but it still doesn't fire every time.

Trigger stops are at least something every gamer should try if they can. Especially for shooters.
IMO the biggest flaw of the dualshock 4 is the triggers and not the battery.I bought some trigger stops that require opening up the dualshock. The L2 worked but R2 didn't and I really wanted to find functional ones. All Sony had to do was extend the plastic on the inside so the R2/L2 buttons are hitting something sooner. Trigger stops are easily my favorite improvement for the controller. These Trigger Devils don't require you to open up the controller. That's a huge plus. The stops were too long at first and R2/L2 wouldn't register at all. I had to sand down the trigger stops themselves (see what is labeled "trigger stops" in the pics for the listing). Regular sandpaper is fine but be careful to only do a little at a time to not overdue it, as it grinds down fairly quick and easy. As a nice bonus these pop on and off very easy so you can test how they feel.I don't like how my fingers rest in the grooves. I can overlook that because I much prefer the shorter distance until the triggers are fully pressed. It also elevates the charge cord so it isn't forced in at a funny angle.Edit: After trying it out with some other games it was pressing the triggers without me doing anything, as others have said. Good concept but I had to remove them.

Great for COD but not other shooters
They are easy to install. I had to sand down the grips slightly due to the trigger still being active. I mainly had an issue with the left trigger being active when not pressing on it. Once I sanded it down a little, the trigger worked great!I love it with call of duty games but it isn't the greatest for other shooters. I've found that some shooters have different activating points. In destiny the most primaries work fine except hand cannons. Special weapons also require a little further trigger pull. If you flip the triggers, I've found them to be a little useful for grenades and melee. The triggers stops are useful with COD but results vary with other shooters.

Clip on Trigger Devils are a huge leap forward!
I bought my first Trigger Devils at Pax East in 2016. The design then was awesome, but required a little piece of two-sided tape to stick on. Not ideal, but the extra responsiveness I got out of my controllers made it totally worth the hassle of the tape. When I heard that Trigger Devils was making a clip-on model, I was totally psyched to get the new ones--no more tape! When they arrived, it literally took me 15 seconds to slide them on. (Folks, read the directions!) I fired up COD and ... wow. Same great responsiveness, but now those babies stay firmly in place.Don't believe the garbage "reviews" by people who don't even own them. Trigger Devils are the real deal--and I know from personal experience with my original TD's that the team stands behind their product. You're not dealing with some importer of cheap junk from the other side of the world. They're real people who care about their customers and their product.

Not so happy
I was really looking forward to getting these for about a week. I finally got them yesterday and after just a few rounds (2) of fortnite they kept popping off. Maybe I just had bad luck but it sucks especially cus I really like how they feel. I will try maybe hot glue or something.
