It’s difficult to review a speaker cable because it’s very much up for debate whether they actually affect the sound or not once you get past the really cheap nasty stuff. I bought this new cable at the same time as buying a new amp, so I’m not even doing a direct comparison with my old cable to be able to tell. However, the sound is really really good so I can only assume that it’s doing its job well. What I can review easily is the physical and aesthetic qualities which are excellent. It’s much thicker, chunkier and heavyweight than I’d expected, you cannot tell this properly from the photos. The banana plugs needed a bit of pressure to push them into the sockets on the speakers, which felt satisfyingly firm and well connected. There is a reinforced pvc wrap around each end of the cable where it splits into the separate plugs, which seems very robust. These are not what I’d call cheap price wise (especially if you need a longer length) but nor do they break the bank, I think the price is reasonable. The cynic in me says you are not going to improve sound quality by paying more than this and I can’t really see how the physical quality could be improved. However, we shall see if they last, I’m impressed right now.

Great product and quality, end fittings super and this makes the connection fitting really tight. Would recommend without hesitation, and at a really good price.

I bought these cables as they are ready made with four plugs at one end so I can bi-wire my old Monitor Audio Bronze BR2 speakers. Does bi-wiring make a difference to the sound? Those who know more about hi fi than I seem divided. But to my average ears they sound better than the (not bad but budget) single wire cables I had before. Speaking of budget, these cables are quite cheap but they are well made, albeit a bit stiff, so far at least. They seem a bit of a bargain really. The cables are wrapped in a tough black and red plastic casing. But... there is absolutely NO technical information that I can see. I ASSUME and HOPE the cables hidden within the plastic covering are a good quality copper. However, there could be a single strand of cheap bell wire in each one for all I know. To me, though, they sound pretty good. OK, I'm sure cables by QED or many other high-end brands would sound better... but they cost upwards (to stellar heights) if three times as much. One day...

A quaity pair of cables well made good fittings.

I used these to replace 30 year old copper cables, which were giving problems with the sound (balance etc). The leads appear to be good quality, and the banana plugs are solid and a good tight fit into the amp and speakers. Before fitting them I carried out continuity tests on the cables and all showed excellent results on my tester. Too early to judge on sound quality - but it sounds fine to me - I have a fairly serious HiFi set up put together in the 1990s (Linn, Audio Synthesis, Pro-Ac etc), and these cables have overcome the problems I was having with my 30 year old cables. My only criticism is I'd like a bit more information about the materials used (eg the quality of the copper)
