Very sticky

Very effective adhesive
Very strong adhesion on poly (10 mil) and concrete block. Used to seal vapor barrier. Very flexible when dry. Easy a regular caulk to use. It is vey sticky as it is designed to be so. Others have complained of many issues, but I did not experience any. Know the intended use of this stuff. I found that when supported or prevented from moving while drying yielded excellent results. Very cost effective. Use gloves if you don’t like getting your hands dirty.

Great for air sealing mud sill
I bought this Red Devil butyl rubber sealant to use in conjunction with foam sill sealer between my mud sill plates and concrete foundation. My criteria were that it is compatible with concrete and damp lumber, that it remains flexible and did not have a high VOC content. This sealant checked all of the boxes and it is very economical compared to a few other options. I would not hesitate to use it again in similar applications where it is desirable to have a permanently flexible and tacky seal.

High water resistance
Good water-resistant product but after drying tends to shrink so a large amount must be applied. One has to careful not get any on bare skin tends to be difficult to remove.

Quality Caulk Tube backing will not explode
Other brands seem to be a little thicker and just a touch more effort to work with...sounds silly "It's caulk...." but this products consistency and tube quality were impressive I would buy again easy n not messy

seals gaps and holes no problem
it is sticky and makes a heck of a mess if mishandled. I used the disposable gloves when working with it. I used it on a camper van,... the roof, the wheel wells, the undercarriage.... etc etc. Sticks very well, hardens in a day or two... or three or more depending on how thick it is applied. Great stuff.
