WILSON NBA Authentic Series Outdoor Basketballs

We bought this to replace the cheap rubber basketballs the kids had been using, and it’s a night-and-day difference. The composite cover has a much better tack to it right out of the box, making it significantly easier to grip and shoot without feeling slick. The bounce is true and consistent off the floor and backboard, not springy and unpredictable like standard rubber playground balls. We mainly use it on indoor courts, but it has held up just fine for casual driveway play outside as well without chewing up the cover. Regarding the appearance, it arrived with a kind of silicon patches. So, we I removed them, it let some marks.

Definitely a good grip. Can't wait to have a low hanging hoop to toss it at. I'm disabled and can't do anything like playing on a court or shallow pool, but any exercise is better than no exercise.

High quality basketball here. Worked well for our slab court in our barn.
