I've been using these crimpers daily for the past 2 weeks. So far so good no issues or complaints. They came calibrated so that's a huge plus. I was a little skeptical buying these tools at such a cheap price. My other set costs over $400. I've noticed a little difference in quality but that is to be expected. These crimpers so far are doing just as good of job as my more expensive set. Highly recommend these for dIYers. Update: I have been using these daily at work multiple times a day for almost 16 months now and I have had zero issues. The other guys I work with have all bought their own sets and love them just as much as I do. These 2 crimpers have made me tens of thousands of dollars since I’ve bought them. If I could leave ten stars I would. Great product! Thank You!

These live up to my Zurn Crimper's ability. Unfortunately they will WEAR YOU OUT and BOTH your hands (you will not be able to 'one hand' these as I had hoped) will be hurting at the end of the day, especially with the 3/4 ones! After a dozen 3/4 crimps, it was just about all I could do to make a few more, and I have GOOD GRIP power too! In fact I found I was using a Joist to push against the handle to make the crimp. The 1/2 is not near as bad. These BOTH require some technique to get used to and the head is fat enough you have a real hard time getting the crimp 'just right' against an elbow (or such) with the other pipe already crimped in place without moving the crimp ring you are working on, out of place, and making a BAD crimp. I ended up using My Zurn's and "building the pipes" then using these to put the built line in place and crimp in the 'tighter spaced' areas. I was surprised that the Pipe Cutter (included) was better than my BOUGHT cutter and in fact I like it much better!!! PS. I discovered a technique that was a big help: If you OPEN the jaws all the way up, you give the handles a squeeze and they will lock in place, and when you release, they clamp down. This allows you to position the crimp ring, pipe & fitting with one hand and the place the tool where you want it with the other, making the crimps more exacting.

I flip houses for a living. I often need to make plumbing connections in crawl spaces that do not permit the access for large or combination crimp tools. The tool has a two-stage mechanism that allows the jaws to open wide enough to fit around the pipe and crimp ring. I’ve used both the 1/2 and 3/4 tools, I’ve dragged them through dirt in various crawlspaces, and I’ve had zero issues. I happily recommend these tools.

Great tools that are very easy to use, im satisfied with the crimping action on the tool and would recommend them to anyone. My one complaint is that while it doesn’t affect functionality, my 1/2 crimpers came with a lot of rough bumps on one handle, it may have slipped through quality control and in the end they will end up used and beat up but for being brand new I just did not expect that.

Made short work of replacing an outside Frostproof faucet. In the picture the Pex replaced at least 8 solder joints that would have been a mess. I used a Pex ready faucet and the SharkBite valve that slipped onto the Pex and the copper pipe. These crimpers do take a bit of effort to complete the crimp but I am sure they all do. Maybe not one-handed use for most but doable. I first purchased the combo unit with 1/2 and 3/4 inch wholes with included copper rings that was nice but would not crimp. Exchanged for these separate units and they work perfect. I am sure the first set was just mis calibrated because they are very well-made units.

Used both crimping tools and tubing cutter about a dozen times with great results.

I redid my house in Pex. I was a bit skeptical regarding their short handles, but fear not, they work well. I use one hand on the 1/2" crimps, but lacked the hand strength to one hand the 3/4" crimper. I like that they fit into a standard 16" on center set of studs or joists. Well made, needed no adjustments and crimp consistently. If you need some extra leverage to pull the handles, cut some pvc pipe and slip over the handles to give you extra leverage for hard to squeeze areas. Tip: To open the jaws to place around pipe, hold one handle and yank back on the other handle to spread the jaws.

These crimpers work fantastic! I’m a plumbing contractor and have purchased several pair for my trucks and they work flawlessly and a great price point compared to other brands costing more than double and just for one pair! Highly recommend for anyone doing crimp style connections in their water systems!
