Assy AF
When the ash catcher on my Weber grill finally gave out after 10 years, I said to my wife "We totally need another assy thing for the bottom" and we were not disappointed. This assy thing fit perfectly on our grill and does its assy job just as well, if not better, than the other assy thing we had before. It's assy hole was the same size as the assy hole we had before and it only took 30 seconds to put this new assy thing where the old assy thing was. Assy af!

Direct fit
This was a direct fit for our 22in Weber kettle grill. No need to modify it and has held up well. The ashes stay in place so it minimizes the mess of ashes blowing onto your patio floor. Easy to install and helps to regulate the temperature better on or BBQ. I highly recommend anyone who has a charcoal kettle style grill to buy this. You will not be disappointed

Perfect fit
Replaced the broken one and saved us the price of a new grill. We grill about 50 weeks a year so it's an important part of our lives.

NOT ALL 22 inch Webers can be upgraded.
I'm not sure how reviewers are claiming it fits all Weber 22 inch grills. I was gifted a basic 22 inch Weber (bought at Home Depot). It had a basic ash tray, basic vent and no thermometer. I ordered upgrades for all 3 of these features and I had to make modifications for each. The as catcher requires slots in each leg. I had to use a grinder to make slots. If my dad had not passed on his "McGuyver" genes, I could not have upgraded the new grill I had been given.

Works as Intended
For those of you who didn't purchase this with their grill, get it. While it won't 100% keep the ashes from blowing out of it with the wind, it'll keep most in the catcher. Be sure to add some aluminum foil to the bottom of the catcher so no grease will stick to the bottom of it.

Easy and fast to install
Nervous about buying but it was easy and fast to install, very happy with purchase especially since the grill I had did not come with a catcher only a flat pan.
