In order to sell on Amazon, fees are required which take a little over a third of the sales price of the product. It takes gasoline to go to the store and buy the product therefore that has to be passed on to the customer. Then it has to be shipped to an Amazon warehouse and shipping costs $$. Anyone selling this product or any product has to make a profit otherwise they can’t stay in business. So when you consider all things involved, the ROI Is very slim.. Each step takes money to do business on Amazon which is passed on to the customer. It’s not as simple as going to the store and picking up the bag and taking it home. You’re paying for a service and a convenience having someone doing all the legwork for you then dropping it at your door or in your mailbox.
