Chromatek Watercolor Paper (A4 Fine)

Pricey but worth it. Used it for infusible ink pen sublimation. It worked great with no bleed-through.

Guys all I have to say is this is NOT cold press this is a smooth with very little texture paper. This is a hot press watercolor paper which I love very much. Please fix the label I love this paper a big fan of hotpress. Please make one with more sheets please.

This is a package that you can use with a YouTube tutorial. If you buy sets of tubes some include this package. I would advise to buy one of those if possible.

I bought this paper to create Cricut watercolor pictures with the Cricut watercolor pens. The machine loads it nicely without pulling or tearing the paper during loading and unloading. The watercolor markers are a nice vibrant color on the paper, and it holds up to being painted on with the "water" pen. The size is perfect for smaller projects.

I'm relatively new to watercolor, so you might want to take what I'm about to say with a grain of salt, but I've now tried a wide variety of watercolor papers from super cheap (like paper I found for $3/pad of 20 pages, 11x14 at my local big lots kind of store) to expensive (like Arches 100% cotton) and I've found this, the Chromatek paper, to be my favorite. It's very reasonably priced and I find it behaves very well with the paint and brushes without excessive warping. It's NOT heavily textured (and one side is almost smooth) so if that's your thing, it might not be for you but I do detailed work and I've been very happy with it. Also, just in case you're wondering, you can use any kind of watercolor paints on it, it's not just for the Chromatek watercolor pens (although it does work beautifully with those too!). I'm probably going to regret writing this review since I've already found the paper to be out of stock twice but they deserve a good review so...

I got a pad of this paper with the chromatek pen set I bought and I have to say, out of all the papers I have tried (a fair few) even with the same gsm and being coldpressed, this is the best of all. Seems to take in the colour really well, but not soak through the paper. Only thing I wish is that it was a little cheaper, but sometimes you have to pay more for the better quality products. Would buy again...also recommended the water colour pens and brushes from chromatek.

Great for use with Chromatek pens as it allows the colour to spread nice and evenly. Some higher quality watercolour paper which was good for standard watercolour paints did not work so well with the pens.

This is a high quality watercolour paper pad. It's a lovely size to work with and makes it easier not to smudge things you are going. It's also a good size for incorporating into card making. When applying colours they don't bleed through the paper like some watercolour pads. The colours look sharp and crisp once it's dried rather than wishy washy. Would use these pads again.
