I've had this camera for over 3 years. It works great. It has an alarm as well. It can take pictures as well as record. The solar panel makes it easy so I only have to charge it a few times a year

After purchasing different wireless wifi cams and being plagued with false motion alerts it was suggested to try this battery camera recharged by solar. This camera works great for motion alerts, especially at night. I see the insects but they are not triggering alarms! Picture quality is also very good. The camera was very easy to install. A note on the horizontal panning feature. Because the camera is mounted 7-10 feet above ground it will most likely be pointed downward. This causes the panning to more or less have an arc travel from one end to the other. At the extreme ends the camera will be pointing up a bit and the picture will not be level. It's not a big deal, just something to be aware of when you install the camera. Also, it does not record 24-7, only the motion alerts. In the app you can set the record length either 10, 20, or 30 seconds. Very nice to have that time adjustment capability. You can also adjust the sensitivity from 1-10. I have mine set on 8, more sensitive. The recommended app is CloudEdge. I had a problem signing up with my Kyocera phone. The next button at signup wouldn't appear. I used my Samsung tablet and had no problem. Installation of the camera and app connection was painless. The app has a ton of features. I like being able to set a schedule for motion detection because I don't need it during the day. The panning works great and the sound quality from the camera is also good. With all the features in this app it will take a little getting used to how everything works. This is the first camera I've had that I find myself forgetting about because I don't get any false alerts! It's a winner and I highly recommend! Also, this company stands behind their products. I had an issue with a wired wifi cam and they were on it and kept at it until things were right. They truly care about their customers!

I bought to install on my shed for some extra coverage. The picture quality is decent and the night mode works reasonably well. This camera has a panning motor and can be panned along horizontal axis. So far in temperate weather, it works, but the mechanism looks and feels flimsy, so I am concerned that it may break, especially when snow and ice enter the situation. Like all IP cameras, this camera suffers from the long delay when requesting view from an app. "Establishing encrypted connection" appears, followed by "getting video feed". This process may take over a minute, which causes me to miss the event that I wanted to check on. I have motion sensors that trip an alarm and when an alarm goes off, I usually check the cameras, but there is no instant picture. It takes a really long time to get a picture most of the time. Sometimes it fails to establish a connection at all and I must retry. All this, despite having a dedicated outdoor wi-fi hotspot just for the IP cameras. Another thing I've noticed is that the camera sometimes pans to one extreme or the other with no user input. I often call up the image and the camera has panned all the way left or right and I have to manually pan it back to center where I want it aiming. For the price, I suppose it's okay. But if you want real security, better to have dug trenches, buried conduit and run hard wire to real security cameras. IP cameras don't work after a storm when the internet is out. That's another downside. They work so-so in ideal conditions.

Installation was easy. The picture quality is good. If you are getting a camera just so you can stare at the screen then buy this one. I on the other hand bought this camera for security purposes around my house when I am not home or I am sleeping. None of the functions on the camera work properly, then all of the sudden every couple weeks I will get like 500+ notifications on the app. If your looking for a security system for safety purposes or to protect your home DO NOT buy this one. If you wanna stare at the screen of your phone on the app all day in order to be aware of what’s going on outside your house (which I highly doubt) get it. Also the company is extremely uncooperative and the warranty is a lie. Iv attempted to contact them multiple times to see if maybe I had it set up wrong and they’ve asked me for my number and told me they were going to call me back and never did also multiple times.

I really needed a solar camera because I didn't have anywhere near to plugin my device in front of my home. I took a chance on this one and I'm glad I did. I am really thinking about buying another for our backyard. Pros: Battery Life is good. Picture quality is great. Family account sharing is really convenient, each family member can have their own account and view the cameras. The reason I wanted an outdoor camera was because I wanted to be able to record at night. It is very clear and you can see cars and people clearly. you have the ability to record videos that have been captured by the camera and share them or save them in an album. The app alerts are quick as soon as the camera detects motion a few seconds later an alert comes through. Sometimes too many alerts come through but I'd rather have more than not enough. The white camera blends in with my house, unless you are looking for it, you won't see it. The Point-Tilt-Zoom settings works great! We don't use that much, but if you do leave some extra cable so the camera can move freely. Cons: About a month after the initial install, we had a few cold days under 20 degrees and the camera battery came so close to dying. We figured it was too cold to function. We had to bring it back inside and charge it and place it back outside on it's mount. It's been charging for a solid 2 months now without issues. The motion detect can be really sensitive at times and will record the wind moving a branch or bush, you really have to play with the settings. Overall I'd buy again.

The first camera I received failed after a very short time, but I appreciate that the company promptly sent me a replacement. Thank you for that. However, I find myself facing yet another issue: the battery does not hold a charge unless it is constantly plugged in. Also, this is now my fourth solar panel—two came with the cameras, and I purchased two additional ones separately after they also failed to charge the camera after long period of use. Moreover, I’ve noticed a significant downside: if your Wi-Fi goes down, nothing gets recorded to the cloud, unlike some of my other cameras. I live in Death Valley so it’s 365 days of sun & heat, i shouldn’t have to change those solar panels so often!!! Overall, the camera is decent for the price, easy to set up, but here I am back to shopping for another outdoor wireless security camera. I am not sure that Anran will be at the top of my list this time; it seems that you truly get what you pay for.

Excellent Security Cameras ! I have had 3 of these cameras mounted on my home for over a year now and am very happy with them. They are very easy to install, and configure with the app. The app itself is very intuitive, is full of features, and works very well. The included solar panels keep the cameras charged at all times. After detectin motion, the cameras record for 30 seconds, and the recordings are stored on an onboard micro sd card. I am completeky satisfied with these cameras, and for the cost they far exceded my expectations.

Si quieres una cámara con resolución básica y solo de internet está cámara es buena, si requieres incluirla a un CCTV no sirve.
