CanDo 10-0900 TheraPutty Standard Hand Exercise Putty, X-SOFT, 2oz

I'm recovering from a broken wrist (ulna and radius distal intra-articular fractures, yes quite a mouthful). Arm was in a cast for 6 1/2 weeks. My hand and wrist lost strength and mobility. Started PT 2x/week, but need to do daily therapy. PT has all kinds of cool gadgets but most are too pricey for me to buy for home use. But the theraputty is inexpensive and a huge help. I bought the yellow and green. After 3 weeks of PT I graduated to the green, but I use the yellow to "warm up" before using green. If you have hand issues and limited funds to spend on PT items, I'd suggest at least getting some putty.

It is helping my husband move his hand after have a stroke. Nice yellow color.

Great therapy putty for handtherapy. The putty came with a resealable container, and the putty was as expected. Would buy again.

It is stiffer than the therapist's putty and has a slimy feel when first picked up.

I got the x-soft one and I thought it had the right amount of resistance and not too tough. However, if I were to buy again, I would go with the xx-soft just to try and see it is slightly less tough.

I actually ordered a few of these to try and match what I’m currently using in physical therapy and found that these are firmer. So x-soft is like soft/medium for therapy uses. The soft and medium were straining to my hand and I’m 37 with strong hands- just getting iPhone Hand peony and trying to strengthen my dominant hand so x-soft was the winner for me

I ordered this standalone X-Soft putty because my niece played with the putty that came in my 4-pack of varying resistance levels. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that this is 2oz of putty, or that the standard size must be more like 4oz.Also, when using it, I see tiny strands breaking off and disappearing into the air, on my computer keyboard, etc. Wish I'd just bought another 4-pack at 2x the cost.
