My young cherry tree was stressing. I didn't wish to stand next to the tree daily to water with a hose mainly due to water run-off. After so much watering, the water would run away. This is an issue for our clay-soils of Maryland. I bought 2 of these bags, enveloped my tree, filled 'em up, and voila! Slow watering at it's best! Maximum use of expensive water.The bags are heavy duty equipped with strong zippers to connect more than one bag. You fill the bag into the hole hidden under the product tag, which flips up. I'm excited to find a method of controlled watering. Great product. It works great. The only problem i have ever had with this is if the mulch gets stuck buy the holes, than it will drain all the way. I would assume this would happen to all brands. It is very easy to fix that. Lift it up, and rotate the bag.
